Nice hotel, well maintained. We had a good meal in the attached restaurant, The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, beyond what we would normally expect. Hotel is across the street from where busses to Milford Sound pick up passengers - very convenient. Hotel is within walking distance from shopping and the lake, but this involves a fairly long climb or taxi ride to get back to the hotel (I'm 76 and in good condition, so the climb was OK for me other than working up a good sweat). We are happy to recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel

I enjoyed this hotel. We booked the room with the washer and dryer, and that was very nice to have in room. Location is very close to all the shops and restaurants, there is a hill you have to go up to return to the hotel (5 minutes or so), but it was very manageable and wouldn't deter me from coming back. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. We didn't get the breakfast, but we went into the restaurant every morning for espresso.

Not worth the price we paid to stay for 2 nights especially for a small room and bathroom. Some issues with cleanliness in the bathroom and walls in the bedroom. Very very limited parking on the streets so we ended up paying for parking there to avoid the hassle. Very close to town which we loved and staff very friendly.

Nice hotel and location

Stated for three nights. Short walk to the water’s edge and lots of restaurants. Washer and dryer in room came in handy. Only thing I didn’t like was the $25 charge for parking.

When we entered our room, in the bathroom behind the door was a used face towel and the bathroom was not clean. I went to housekeeping and tild them my concerns. The housekeeper was really nice and came to our toom to get the used face towel. I mentioned anout getting the bathroom floor washed...she said they do not wash the floors only vacuum. I found this odd and felt it isnt appropriate to not wash bathroom floors.. Otherwise everything else goid! The breakfast buffet was really nice.

Stayed Feb 2025 for 3 nights. Room had a view of the lake and was clean, bed was comfortable. Walking distance to the town centre where there is a good selection of restaurants, bars and shopping. Bit disappointed that the hotel restaurant/bar stopped serving at 9pm and one night we struggled to have an order accepted at 8.45pm. Parking very limited on hotel premises, book in advance if you need this. Otherwise free parking in side roads opposite the hotel as advised by hotel staff.
