The staff was always confused and unsure. They also confirmed airport pick up and then forgot and never showed up. Leaving me to figure it out. The seaweed was very bad and they made a poor effort to clean it. The drinks were horrible and did not taste how they were supposed to. They promote 3 restaurants but I only have the third opened every other day. Rooms did not have comforters only a thin sheet. Pool was nice.

it was horrible rooms very old couldn't even open the closet doors and the main pool was under remodeling . sea weed on the beach couldn't even see the sand. piles of it and the smell from see weed. its the worst hotel in Punta Cana. expedia should not even put this hotel in travel section . it had 4 star rating it should minus 4 stars. i will never book thru expedia again. i should get a full refund from my stay thank you for your time. jm

Our stay was excellent. The only thing i wished they had is a sugarless option for oatmeals and hot chololate, but other than that the options were very good. Delicious foods all around.

For the most part the staff was excellent! We didn’t receive a true welcoming once we arrived. The reason we stayed at the hotel was to possibly look into having a wedding there. We learned that at check-in they no longer host wedding. 😡 Need to remove that from advertising. We had bugs in our room, contacted service desk - we were told someone was coming. No one showed (we reported the sighting 1 day and we were there for 4 nights). We ended buying bug spray and doing it ourselves. I’m sure others have had great experiences, ours wasn’t. It’s an outdated hotel with tons of potential. If I see it ever gets renovated, may try again. However we will not be back anytime soon!

really safe resort, lots of beach chairs to chose from, and a good balance of shade and sun tanning options if you are trying to manage exposure to the sun. Security keeps people off the resort from approaching you to sell something.

JUST KNOW THAT WI-FI IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE RESTAURANT OR LOBBY. There’s no Wi-Fi in your rooms. The staff was nice but honestly and truly this hotel is run down/ outdated . There were stains on my bed, the bathroom sink was clogged up. I had initially booked for 4 nights due to the price but ended up booking for Catalonia resort. The difference was like day and night. I enjoyed my stay at Catalonia. It’s mostly senior people at the VIK resort and the food was limited and not visually appetizing. Book if this is your first experience with an all inclusive so when you book better you’d appreciate it .

Muchos huéspedes nos quejamos del aire acondicionado en la habitación en mi caso solo tuve Dos días funcionando Pregunte por alguna compensación y md dijeron k no era posible Ya yo había perdido mi primer día de hotel por cancelación del vuelo por parte de jet blue cosa ajena al hotel pero solicité servicios de caja de seguridad y al menos me la pudieron dar free como compensación al menos de la falta de aire acondicionado La llave la use 5 días y me cobraron 6 días Tenían poca disponibilidad de cambiar dólares en la recepción aún yo buscaba csmbio para dejarles propinas😱
