Sonoran Sea E-701 Lost @ Sea In Paradise Spectacular Oceanfront Condo

Recently remodeled, this end unit three bedroom condominium has the perfect beach atmosphere for your stay by the ocean. At the center of Sandy Beach in Rocky Point, Mexico you find this expansive three bedroom end unit. The large, comfortable 300 square foot patio is a high point, making the perfect environment for terrific beach getaway.

A really massive L shaped sofa in the living room makes a fun spot to unwind. It converts into a Queen sleeper as well. The beach side master suite offers a king bed and attached bathroom, while bedroom number three has a bunk bed combining a king with a double!

Condominium features;

~ Full kitchen, prepare anything you can imagine. All large and small appliances, dinnerware, cookware too.
~ Kitchen granite is beautiful, and the large counter includes high backed bar stools
~ living room with L shaped sofa, pull out Queen bed, TV. Dining table for six.
~ Utility room with washer and dryer.
~ Master bedroom with king bed, bathroom, and patio access. There is a dresser, TV, closet and chair as well.
~ Second bedroom with queen/double bed Bunk bed, great for kids.
~ Third bedroom as well with queen bed, hall bathroom.
~ Patio is 300 square feet, and has a dining table and chaise lounge chairs too.

Bedroom description is inaccurate

The description shows both guest bedrooms having a king bed and bunk bed. Only one bedroom had a bunk bed in the room. The other was jist a king bed. Which was really disappointing considering the entire reason we booked here was because we are all adults and wanted everyone to have their own bed. The unit itslef was clean, updated and well stocked. They do not provide beach towels which any other unit we have rented has had. Ultimately we will not recommend or stay in this unit again bwcause of the descepency. The restaurant and outdoor bar was phenomenal as usual.

Awesome stay in august

Very nice property. Will definitely be back. Easy check in/out process. Good security. Nice and clean rooms. AC works phenomenally. The resort was resurfacing the swim up pool the entire time, which i wish we would’ve known about. No mention on the resort website either. But the other pools and beach were very nice. Overall 5 stars 👍

Pros: Location: near by restaurants shops Views: Just spectacular! Pool/Bar: Heated, great views, food & drinks, friendly staff! Property: Nice Grounds/Friendly/grocery items Condo: Excellent Space and Décor Cons Property: Check in was a little long and though we were a little early they still were not that accommodating to let us get to our room before 4pm... Condo: Lacked some items as mentioned in other reviews. TV has child lock and very hard to read wifi log in had to ready off the router directly Sliding glass door in guest room if windy can be loud whistling noise through the night. Booking Agent: Asked if we could down grade the size from 3 bed to 2 bed condo for the same dates the very next day after booking said they could only change if it was Upgrade (found that stingy) and could only cancel and rebook so with the non refundable book fee it wouldn't be worth the hassle Highly Recommend for the price, all room are ocean front we have only ever stay on the East Building never have been disappointed.

Sonora Sea resort

The condo is beautiful and nicely decorated. The view from the balcony and the master bathroom are beautiful. The property was clean and kitchen is stocked with everything needed. The property management are very professional and helpful, they responded to our needs in a timely manner. There are nice restaurant and convenience store which made our stay even better. We love staying at the Sea because of its location, security and amenities like restaurant, gym, swim up bar and internet cafe. Recent upgrades to the property, I including pool related. That was the only bummer because adult jacuzzi was closed.

Clean, comfortable, nice view and location

We arrived early and we’re allowed to check into our room, about an hour early (off season). We used the bell man to take our things up which was helpful. The unit was cold when we entered which we liked after a long drive. Everything was very clean and it smelled fresh. We selected our rooms and everyone was happy with the king size beds. The patio is big with lots of seating and wonderful views of the ocean. There is easy access to the beach, which was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen mostly well stocked with utensils and plates, cups. etc. we had dish soap but no sponge or dish rag to wash with so bring your own. We used the dishwasher, which was very loud and the tab never really dissolved. There wasn’t soap or shampoo in the bathrooms provided, so bring your own. We brought our own dish towel as someone else mentioned not having one. We were provided only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. We had a good amount of shower towels and make up towels were provided. We brought our own beach towels, none are provided. One pool is being worked on and the other one was cold so no swimming for us. There was a hot tub that was hot, but no bubbles. We sat on the beach and had good service and the drinks were decent during happy hour. The food was basic. The bedding and decor are from the 1990’s. But very comfortable. Not a good place for little kids who like to touch everything as there are a LOT of knickknacks and I’d be worried with the balcony. Overall a nice stay if you know what to expect. The price was right and we needed to be in walking distance of Banditos.

Spring break vacation

We had a great time at this resort. Condo was clean, spacious, it had all we needed from beds, extra blankets, full kitchen including utensils. Great location with great pool and access to beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Sonoran Sea is perfectly positioned by the beach and a very short drive to the town. With a few local restaurants one could even never leave the area. Will be back.
