Great stay. The house is very nice and just steps to the beach. Oceano rentals is top notch and we appreciate their attentiveness. The only draw back was the water pressure in both showers was very low and the property was not quite ready when we got there. Even after the check in time the cleaners were still there when we arrived at the house. Overall this is a very good property and a great rental team.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I really loved the home and location. I will absolutely stay here again. A couple things tho...the master bathroom shower was cold water. I did read that in the reviews but apparently they have not fixed the issue. The bedroom in the front which looks like a kids game room has a foul odor, not sure if there's an old mattress that had trouble that needs to be replaced...luckily we did not have anyone that had to stay in that bedroom but may make me think twice if we have more people with us to stay there because of that.I loved the kitchen, the place was really stocked and we enjoyed it.I checked in 48 hours ahead to see if we could get in early because we did see nobody was staying the day we were coming. Communication was not good, they kept saying depending on the cleaning service. They asked eta I told them 2pm, we got to the office he said cleaning service was still there to come back at 3:30, we came back at 4 and when we got to the property they were still there cleaning. I appreciate a clean place which it was but they knew our eta and nobody was there a couple days before us. Also the wifi was incorrect that was given to us, but we figured it out as its on the modem, hopefully they updated that as we told them. With all that being said I would stay again..

This house is in the Perfect Beach Front location in Los Conchas. We did have a few issues the screens on the two beach facing King Bed rooms were bent and not fully fitting in the window (because the frames were dented) so we couldn’t have those windows open at night to listen to the tide come and go. The Arcadia door had non working screens in the living room. We were only there for 3 days and the Oceano people wanted to send maintenance to fix the screens, as long as we would give the permission to enter the house if we were not there. (We didn’t feel comfortable with that). The water in both showers was cold, we reported this and they sent someone to fix the problem, they said all we needed to do was flip a switch in the bathroom that had a small light on the switch. Nothing was ever mentioned about this at check in. There was also a smell of septic tank odor that would come in from the court yard at night. Overall we would say that the house needs some updating. Location was beautiful though!

Loved it!

Great house, great location. Was perfect for our family and grandchildren. Only draw-back is that the master bathroom had no hot water to the shower. All the other faucets had hot water, but not that shower. We made due by showering in the other bathroom!

We enjoyed the space and location—easy beach access from the patio and great tidepooling at low tide. Beds were comfy, A/C and fans kept things cool, and the kitchen was spacious. The location of both Walmart and the check-in office was also very convenient. The host and the concierge for the rental were very responsive. The kitchen included helpful extras like cling wrap, foil, plastic forks, and more left behind by previous guests.However, for the price (the highest on our list), there were several surprises that would’ve influenced our booking decision. I'd stay again, but not at the same nightly rate.Important considerations:* No hot water in the showers (fine in summer, but not ideal in cooler months).* Listing said there was a dishwasher—there wasn’t.* No laundry, despite listing saying otherwise.* Game room and foosball table also not present.* Fridge didn’t stay cold—we had to buy ice to keep food fresh.* Oven is very difficult and potentially dangerous to use: involves turning on gas, removing a heavy metal plate, manually lighting, then replacing the plate carefully.* Dead cockroach on the kitchen floor at arrival and trash in the backyard sand.* Only one small bar of hand soap per sink.
May want to consider purchasing more at the Walmart nearby in advance.We had a good stay overall, but better listing accuracy and a few fixes would make a big difference.

Lots of shells to be found along the beach in this location! The kids loved that.
The early morning waters were beautiful and warm.
There were never very many people on the beach other than the occasional beach vendor passing through offering goods or services.
