Overall the hotel was a nice pleasant place to stay. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, with the exception of a couple of the dining staff. The bedding was clean and the rooms were generally well kept. Cleanliness only got 3 stars as there were a few things that needed attention. The bedding was clean but a couple of the towels were not. The shower could benefit from a bit of a scrub and I had to wipe down the doors and handles as they were a little dirty.
If you are hiring a car, then be mindful there is limited parking at the hotel. It is all on street and is generally full. There is a large, free parking lot at the top of the town that has a lot of space. Approx 10 min walk.
There are lots of evening dining options in the main town, along with plenty of shops. All just a 10-20 min walk. The ice cream shop, Berry’s, is worth stopping at. Divino and Iberico’s were both good places to eat. Be mindful that smoking is allowed at most of the restaurants and so for a smoke free meal you need to sit inside, or visit one of the few none smoking restaurants (Iberico’s is one of them).
If I return to the north of Tenerife, I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again.
