Fabulous home away from home

The house is open and airy surrounded by a lovely patio garden with mature plants. Although in a vibrant neighborhood, the tucked away street is quiet. Inside is lovely -- decorated in soothing tones with everything you need - beds are comfortable, the shower has plenty of hot water, and linens a lovely cotton. Kati goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. I asked if she had a table I could use for a desk and the next day one appeared. A cleaning lady came every two weeks bringing fresh linens and towels. Kati responded immediately to all emails and was always accessible. Across the street and down a flight of stairs is a promenade skirting the side of the hill with amazing views and two cafes where you can sip a wonderful Canaria wine to watch the sunset. We were there for six weeks and loved every minute of it.

2nd vacation

This is our second vacation in Casa Pitera. We rented the house for four for weeks last March/April, and stayed for four and a half weeks again this February. I wrote a comprehensive review last year, so I will not repeat my comments from then. I would just like to say that we again enjoyed our stay, and felt very comfortable being back. The open plan layout is perfect for us, very relaxing. We have already booked a third stay for four and a half weeks next year.

Lovely house in a great location.

Casa Pitera is a lovely single level house in our favourite location, the La Paz area of Puerto de la Cruz. The inside is spotlessly clean, the bed is very comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and the house is well equipped with everything we needed of our four week stay. The weekly cleaning service was excellent. Outside there is large terracing around three sides of the house, and the landscaped garden is very pretty with an abundance of flowering shrubs. The supermarket, shops, and many restaurants are just a 5 minute walk away. The house is situated in a small cul-de-sac, a few metres away from the mirador lookout, with great views down to Martianez beach. This is also the starting point for the lovely 20 minute walk down to the Martianez promenade, and on past the small harbour into Plaza del Charco and the old town, where there is a huge selection of more restaurants, shops and bars. Perfect if you enjoy eating outside. The main TF5 Autopista is a 5 minute drive away for good access to visit other parts of this beautiful island. Kati is lovely, is easy to contact if necessary, and is very helpful. She was at the house to meet us on arrival, and she and her husband Marcos met us when we departed to say goodbye. We have already booked to stay for another four weeks next year. Thank you Kati and Marcos.

Schönes Haus für eine Auszeit

Schönes kleines Häuschen für ein Paar, evtl mit Kindern. Die Lage ist super - Restaurants Bäckerei und Supermarkt sind innerhalb von wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Garten lädt zum relaxen ein. Auch Puerto de la Cruz ist schnell zu Fuß und mit dem Bus erreichbar.

Ein sehr gepflegtes Haus mit schöner Terrasse in sehr guter Lage - sowohl zur Stadt als auch für Unternehmungen auf der Insel. Vor allem aber sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
