Park Rangers have expert knowledge on local history, culture, local fauna & flora and more! Talking with a Park Ranger will give you a chance to discover local hidden gems. Some firewood is provided free of charge.Some extra amenities include: Keyless Entry, Books on local Wildlife, History, & Culture. A convenient amenity provided by the National Park Services: Public boat launch ramps. These ramps provided easy access to the New River for rafting, floating, fishing etc.. You can float to our location and various locations along the New River. There is no cameras on the property! Enjoy your vacation in privacy!

Great place to stay right on the river. (Stayed 2 nights.) Very convenient to NRG activities. Cabin seemed recently redone & was very nice. Couldn't use the river deck since it rained. Would stay again.

Great place, very rustic but very clean. Beautiful location on the river. The only things that need some improvement would be the shower and the kitchen needs more utensils. The only way to get good water pressure is to take a cold shower. Besides that it’s wonderful. The train comes by daily, rafters floating by all day and the location is stunning. Get some hot water and more cooking items and it would be perfect. Thank you so much and we look forward to returning.

This was an excellent place to stay for our trip to the New River Gorge National Park. What a lovely location, right next to the river. Everything was perfect. We would certainly recommend it and would stay again if in the area.
