Amazing property

As my family and I made a two week trip around southern Italy, this was one of our favorite places to stay! The view was beautiful, the property was spotless, and the check in process was very easy. Only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Mooie ruim & privé gelegen

De ruime Vila is bereikbaar via een steile oprit waar een lage auto moeite mee heeft. Na bellen was de eigenaar er in 30min. Hierna volgde een tour door het zeer ruime huis met uitleg. Hoewel de VRBO advertentie dit niet vermeld wordt voor gebruik van de airco extra kosten in rekening gebracht ( de airco staat uit ) Wij, gezin met 3 volwassen kinderen hadden dit huis geboekt voor bezoek aan Pompei en Herculaneum en Amalfi kust, allemaal op circa 1 uur rijden vanaf het huis. Het huis is zeer ruim en mooi gelegen, er is 1 tv en de keuken is erg basic: oven, vaatwasser, gaskookplaat, servies, basis bestek en pannen: geen waterkoker, toaster of koffiemachine etc. (En ook niet zoals tekst in advertentie VRBO vermeld: elke kamer voorzien van smart tv, waterkoker, koffiezetapparaat en haardroger) Eigenaar zeer vriendelijk, er is een zwembad in aanbouw en kwam hiervoor een paar keer langs, wij konden nog geen gebruik maken van het zwembad maar genoten van overdekt terras, tennis baan en ruime tuin. Door breuk in waterleiding verderop zaten wij 1 dag zonder water, communicatie met eigenaar hierover verliep goed. Bij het huis hangt ook een zwerfhond rond, behalve aanwezig verder geen last van. BBQ was na reinigen van het rooster gebruiksklaar. Supermarkt/restaurant op 10min rijden. Onze week in Villa Le Cicale was warm en stoffig ( werkzaamheden op naast gelegen terrein ) maar verder geslaagd. Pompei en Herculaneum indrukwekkend en Amalfi erg mooi. Familie de Paauw.
