Short visit

The hotel grounds looked nice. The room was nice, and we really liked having the loft for my daughter to sleep in. The blinds could be replaced because the terrace lights went through and were annoying when it was time for bed. The room also smelled like the last person had smoked a lot of marijuana. We loved the body wash; it smelled nice. Maybe consider a microwave in the rooms or the lobby. We had some breakfast burritos, but no way to warm them up, which was a big bummer. We did like having Starbucks on the property.

While my stay was good, there was no microwave, thus leaving me without warm food. The customer service via phone is lousy given I need to get through an AI clerk in order to speak to a real person regarding inquiries. Given the positive reputation of this motel, i expected a lot more from both, the customer service and amenities. I am lucky if I get a room for 3 nights within company budget, but even more lucky if I get a microwave in the room. Please do better. Thank you

Room was small but quite modern,had pad for charging phones,bathroom amenities, clean bright white bedding, all apps for watching t.v(hulu,Netflix) onsite bar/coffee. The only thing i would suggest is to add where the ice machine/soda vending machines are. They give you a check in map(which was super helpful property is large easy to get lost) but we couldnt find the location of the ice machine and feont desk was closed. Everything else was absolutely wonderful. Huge step up from the location down the road which i dont recommend.

My wife and I were one of three occupated rooms and was placed in a room in the back next to the bar. When asked if we could be moved into a more scenic room the gal at the desk said nothing was available. Apparently since we booked online using Expidia she wasn't accomadating. Otherwise our one-night stay was fine. Off season, we were hoping for the hot tub to be open but it was drained along with the pool. Many of the area's restaurants were also closed for the season.

The heating system kept cycling and it was not quiet at all. Checked in and the young lady working the counter said the bar and restaurant was closed for the season. The only reason I thought it was ok to pay that much for a small room was the attached restaurant and bar. You have to travel a few miles to get something to eat.

Far exceeded expectations!!

It was absolutely fantastic. The room was comfortable, and so cozy with the fireplace while it was snowing outside. The grounds are beautiful. The location is great, and nearby wonderful lakes and walks. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful!!!

My stay was end of December and it snowed. It looked like a winter wonderland. The room was clean and the decor modern. The main entrance and check in area has a large sitting area, fireplace and a cute boutique filled with fun items. But really it’s the surrounding nature that was pristine. The walk to feather river was easy to find despite the deep snow. The staff was warm and welcoming. Thank you.

1.) Provide a bed that is a normal height and support. The bed you provided was unacceptable and dangerous for a person of my age (66). I slipped on the cow skin rug trying to get out of the bed because I could not get up off the excessively low bed. 2.) The foam bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. 3.) There was no couches or chairs to sit on for an adult. Why? I had to sit on the stairs. 4.) Website is deceptive. The photo makes it look like you can get a view from your room. Our room (214) got a view of the parking lot. 5.) Controller for the heater did not work. 6.) Toilet height is very low. Very hard to get up from. 7.) Tap Room & Brewery....webpage said "Featuring pizzas and tapas inspired dishes that are perfect for sharing that pair perfectly with our unique collection of craft beers". Not. The pizzas were packaged, probably frozen and there were no tapas. Moreover, the pours for drinks were extremely small for the money.
