The journey to the place was difficult. It was not mentioned that the check-in location was a 20 minute walk through extremely busy area to the actual apartment. We had many bags and it was very difficult and expensive to find a car transport.
The unit extremely dirty and needs some serious maintenance. Everything was dirty. The bathroom was disgusting, had flies all over the sink and black gunk and mold in the shower that leaked onto the bathroom floor. There was dust all over the apartment and it seems like the carpets /rugs haven’t been washed in months. The walls have many marks and leak stains from the ac units.
Regarding the required maintenance, there was serious damage to an area of the unit that was clearly trying to be covered up by a curtain. The foundation of the wall is exposed, chunks of the wall is missing and there is serious debris and dirt.
Another huge safety hazard is that the bathroom door is fully broken. The door does not open from the inside so you get locked in every time you close the door.
This is a huge safety hazard. I was locked inside the bathroom and luckily my partner was only a few minutes away from the unit and had to come back to let me out. Absurd! never told that accommodations were inside a semi-empty traffic mall. This is something you should absolutely inform the guests and should be properly detailed in the booking. It did not feel safe walking to the unit at night, or any time of day really - big yikes.
