The host had superb communication throughout our stay. Despite being in a central area, our unit was quiet. The building was kept clean and the washroom was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again on a future visit.

We absolutely loved our stay at Virtudes City Lofts. Firstly, the flat was lovely and clean, the bed was super comfortable and the room was quiet. The location was even better and everything was within a 15 minute walk. There was also a lovely bar next door and a coffee shop that sold the best pastel de natas I’ve ever had. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Porto.

I’m so glad we booked Virtudes City Lofts. Veronica was so helpful, organising a transfer from Porto airport and letting us into our room earlier than official check-in as it had been cleaned. It’s great to be so close to the river and surrounding area. The room was comfortable and clean, and a welcoming mini bottle of red wine was waiting for us when we arrived.

Veronica was an amazing host, she sat me down and showed me on a map everything I needed to see in my 2.5 days in Porto. The apartment had great amenities including fridge, stove top, iron, and a great shower. There was complimentary wine and espresso which you don’t realize how great it is until you have it. I can’t believe the price to stay in this place. Amazing.

Hostess Veronica is fabulous, could be reached and available to answer questions about the property. Her housekeeping staff is also very friendly and helpful. The apartment is spotless and modern. Have everything I need for a comfortable stay. Walkable to many of the tourist interest spots. Definitely will return here if ever come back to Porto.

The manager was amazing and very helpful. And the housekeeper was very sweet. We had to use our towels for a leak in the toilet hose, and had to buy our own toilet paper as we almost ran out. But the manager renewed our supplies as soon as she heard. Loved our stay.

Veronica and housekeeper were both so kind and helpful. The unit was really clean, well maintained and had everything we would need for our stay. We were able to walk to almost everything and felt safe. If we were to come back we would stay here again, truly a beautiful place due to the management.

Absolutely beautiful room. Comfy bed good size washroom. No view to speak of in our room, and unfortunately there is a restaurant immediately below and everyone is always smoking so we had to keep the windows closed. The accommodation is at the top of the hills so you must be in good shape to walk this area. Going down is great, coming back up is very difficult when it's hot. So if you stay in the area it's beautiful. The host is very responsive to your needs.

GREAT place to stay!! If I could describe this accommodation with one word it would be - care. You can feel that the owners have taken note of so many small details to make your stay feel like a home instead of a sterile hotel room. The room was clean, bright, and pleasantly arranged. It had everything you need for a nice stay (EVEN CONDITIONER - in Europe!!) Really nice shower with strong water flow. It is in a great location. Minutes walk from bus stations up the road, within 10 minutes walk down to the river or over to the metro station. While I was there, there was a beautiful Christmas market in the park 5 minutes up the hill. But even though it is centrally located, the street itself is very quiet and I slept so well there. Veronica was so welcoming and ready to help with anything you needed, and helped accommodate my arrival so nicely. And there was just a lovely clean (but not strong chemical) smell every time you walked into the building, which just makes you feel confident that you are staying in a place that is being well cared for and maintained. I stayed in 5 different places during my two weeks in Portugal, and this was by far my favorite. If you are staying in Porto, do yourself a favor and stay here!

Beautiful room, great location

Staying in the family room with a view over the Duoro from the balcony, this clean and spacious room was beyond perfect. Small kitchen with hon, dishwasher, fridge, microwave. Rain shower in the bathroom with good pressure and plenty of hot water. Mini fridge stocked with reasonably priced goods, and a small bottle of wine upon arrival. Verónica and Miguel were superb hosts. Could not have asked for more.

A lovely apartment in a very convenient location.

Virtudes City Lofts property was well located, spotlessly clean, and nicely arranged including a small table and chairs. We enjoyed the apartment type living and were provided with everything we needed for a few days stay. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were of high quality. Communication was outstanding and we especially appreciated that our hostess made a taxi reservation for our departure.

We absolutely loved our stay. It was cosy and clean at a good location near restaurants and bars. We barely needed to use any form of public transportation. Amenities were good - the bottle of wine was a nice touch. We were able to store our luggages after check out. Veronica who runs the place was super responsive with any questions we had. Overall no complaints. If there was one thing that we had to fault - it would be no full length mirrors. But this is a really minor point
