Matosinhos crash pad

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, extremely well located, near great restaurants and the beach. The property is simply stunning. However, THE NOISE! Paper thin walls that damper nothing between floors or rooms. Unfortunate since the place is incredibly beautiful.

Ivo was often present very professional & kind. Even booked our trains to Lisbon and assisted us in being able to pay in cash as they used the hotels account which was a massive help. Throughout our stay Fatima was present cleaned our room doing breakfast providing anything we needed. Beautiful kind person. Has a beautiful well maintained garden area with a plunge pool & jacuzzi was so peaceful and lovely to relax in have breakfast outside or a glass of wine later on. We have no complaints or downsides whatsoever. We stayed twice hence the reviewing twice. We will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. The property has been beautifully remodeled and the room was spacious with a wonderful en suite. Breakfast was delightful and the location was great! If you stay here, we HIGHLY recommend the restaurant Crivelli Restaurante Italiano. It is a total gem with delicious Italian cuisine created by Sergio Crivelli, the chef himself!

Great place to stay! The breakfast was lacking for sure! Only ate there the first morning, chose to dine out the second day. But the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and very comfortable. Would definitely go back.

The house is beautiful and the jacuzzi pool was a lovely addition. The female staff member made us a takeaway breakfast box as we had to keave early for the airport which was a lovely touch. The only thing as a negative is, as it is a house, there was a lot of noise from doors closing and walking across the floors etc which was a shame. Apart from that it was perfect

This accommodation is a newly renovated historic structure that is portrays modern and minimalist interiors. The hotel is small (perhaps 6 rooms), and includes 2-room options. On-street and garage parking were uncomplicated in this ocean side resort. I would stay here again.

Amazing breakfast, lovely room, loved the bikes (included), close to everything- shopping, restaurants, beach, metro line. Loved the breakfast hostess- SO sweet! Loved the rooms! 10 stars all the way around! Ivo was a most excellent host. His pre-arrival instructions were thorough, he answered so many questions for me, found a pickleball court for my obsession, etc. The property is beautiful. You can tell much care, design and detail went into the furnishings. My room was so comfortable and had everything I needed. The pillows and shower were amazing. Fatima and Vania were super sweet and helpful as well. The breakfasts were a delight as was the afternoon snack. I loved being able to walk to nearby restaurants. I felt very safe. I hope to return one day!

Outstanding week at Ocean Porto! Very charming boutique hotel with all the amenities one would want and an extremely warm and helpful staff. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The shower was second to none, and a luxury after a day scaling Porto's hilly terrain.
