Exceptional: we arrived in Portugal just after the big storms in late January early February and no trains were running between Lisbon and Porto for us to make our connection up to Porto. As a result of the craziness, our time for arriving in Porto was all over the map. Our hostess, Fernanda, was incredibly helpful and communicative as our arrival time kept getting adjusted Fernanda went out of her way to accommodate us. From the start we felt well taken care of; this was comforting as we were three senior couples traveling to Portugal for the first time. Fernanda was very helpful settling us in. The apartment was fantastic; great location in the center of the historic district; fresh and amazing egg tarts steps away from the entrance, grocery stores within half a block, waterfront 5 to 7 minutes walk away; restaurants everywhere and at all levels. Our stay from check-in to check-out was seamless. Very highly recommended. Would return in a minute!Larry from Oakville, Canada

The apartment is in great condition as shown in the pictures the manager is great we had a couple of issues and right of way the resolved it. The elevador is definitely a plus and the location is perfect. The beds are comfortable. I would definitely come back to this place

It’s a beautiful apartment which has been thoughtfully renovated to create 3 sleeping areas. The location is superb - 5 mins downhill walk to the river, 5 mins uphill to the Metro, less than 10 mins to the city centre. Restaurants and shops close by. The beds and sofas were comfortable, the bathrooms were good, it felt spacious and the very high windows let in lots of light. It could do with a visit from a joiner, as the wooden panels in the 2nd bedroom will not close, and several doors scrape on the floor. The floorboards are very noisy, so any movement during the night wakes everyone in the apartment. The upstairs neighbours were extremely noisy from 6:30am every day. The kitchen is very small - fine for breakfast, not much space for cooking a full meal.

The apartment was beautiful and well maintained. The location was perfect for accessing most of Porto’s attractions on foot. Our hosts were very communicative and were there to greet us at the appointed time and made sure we were comfortable. I would highly recommend this property!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with the apartment. The apartment has a modern style while still maintaining the historical architecture. Stepping from the modern living area onto the old world classic balcony was like entering a different era. The location was perfect for being within walking distance of so many popular spots. Marc and Fernanda were quick to respond to our questions and requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again some day.

What a lovely apartment. It’s perfect for 4-6 people with very comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped, even though we didn’t end up cooking. The location couldn’t be better- restaurants and bars are all within easy walking distance. Marc, the host, was very communicative and made check in simple. Large 2 bedrooms with an added loft bed.I large bedroom with ensuite. Second bedroom does not have windows or AC, but does have shutters to open to the living room for ventilation. Great location. accomodated our early check in with a 50 Euro fee. Very helpful since we arrived at 10am.

Perfect location

Beautiful building in a very central location. Large living space . Clean and comfortable with two very good size bathrooms. The air conditioning in every room and the extensive wardrobe space was great. The lift was a great advantage and a must for us with luggage. The 500 bus stops more or less outside the building. A great stay and I would recommend. Please take care getting out of the lift as the downward stairs are to your immediate left.
