Hotel was nice in a great location with clean rooms but we could hear the music and beat from the club in the building next in our room that kept us awake on the first night. We changed rooms but didn’t have the nice view of Aliados we paid for.

Breakfast was good with many options to choose. Overall service from hotel personnel was excellent! Front desk, breakfast and room attendant were great. The room was very comfortable with a big bathroom. The only detail was an occasional bad smell coming out of the bathroom. Other than that, everything else was great!

The Axis Porto was an excellent hotel in the heart of Porto. It is walking distance to many sights, easy access to public transportation, and near several types of restaurants. The facility seemed almost new and well maintained. Fixtures were modern, in fact, almost too modern, where the look outweighed the function. One example was the shower control had no markings for Hot or Cold, and it turned out to be exactly opposite what I was used to. This is really minor once I figured it out, but when I first arrived and was quite jet-lagged, it was a little frustrating. That said, the shower great once I got used to it.

Lovely hotel, and a very good location. My only negative was the breakfast. None of the food food that was supposed to be hot was ever hot. On the third day of my three day trip I ate breakfast outside the hotel. Much better. But the staff was very helpful And the room was quite nice.

Lovely hotel!

Staff was welcoming, friendly, helpful and patient. They also gave us wonderful restaurant suggestions. Our rooms were lovely and the location of the hotel was perfect. So happy we stayed there and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto!
