Everything about our stay was fantastic! We were welcomed warmly and enjoyed the salt water taffy as an extra pop of color and sweet treat. :) Our room was perfect, with more amenities than we even had anticipated, and the breakfast was delicious -- with several gluten free options and fresh fruit! Will definitely stay here again!!

Staff was very nice. The room I stayed in had a kitchenette and living room area - it was like a studio apartment. It was fine, but looked kinda like a motel room. Paint and decor could be improved. Bed was perfectly comfortable.

This is an excellent Portland choice for lodging, in charming NW Portland. Great shopping and restaurants in the area, and the streetcar makes all of downtown Portland easily accessible. Parking is included in the reservation. The rooms are well designed with every amenity.

**The worst hotel experience we’ve ever had.** After falling asleep with the TV on—apparently a little louder than it should’ve been—we were **woken up at 3 AM by aggressive banging on the door** and told we were being kicked out. **No phone call. No warning. Just threats that they would call the cops.** We’ve been using Hotels.com for over 14 years and have *never* had an issue anywhere. The cops showed up and literally put us out on the street in Portland at 3 AM with **no explanation** and **no refund** for the second night we didn’t stay. The staff was extremely unpleasant and honestly looked like tweakers. Thankfully Hotels.com refunded us because we’re loyal customers, but the hotel itself refused to do anything. If you’re planning a night out, **stay far away from this place.** The walls are paper thin and the staff is hostile and unprofessional. A simple phone call to tell us the TV was loud would have solved the whole situation. It’s sad because the property *is* nice—we’ve stayed here multiple times for the same reason. But this experience was completely different, and after how we were treated, **we will never be back. I strongly recommend others reconsider staying here as well.**

The shower head pipe was broken, the place was not the cleanest, the tv was super old, the heater was super loud and kept blowing cold air then hot then cold even though only heat was on. Carpet had stains. Tub was not clean.

I stayed here for two nights in a king suite with the kitchenette. I was impressed at the size of the room, the balcony area, and the neighborhood. I really appreciated the parking availability. I feel like the property is showing signs of wear and aging and could be cleaner - the toilet in the bathroom seemed like it wasn’t cleaned around the seat and the room needs a good top-to-bottom dusting/ steam clean. One thing to be aware of is the trolley that runs semi frequently adjacent to the property that can be a little alarming the first couple times but then you get used to it. I found the location central and easy. I didn’t use the kitchenette and the breakfast left a lot to be desired but served the purpose. I wish they would get better coffee machines.

The Inn at Northrup Station is my favorite hotel. My husband and I have stayed there many times. The rooms are spacious with great floor plans: two queen beds, kitchenettes, and couches. I love the imaginative decor. And the neighborhood is great--many restaurants and interesting shops. Plus close proximity to forested urban parks with miles of trails.

Free parking and free breakfast is always appreciated. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and very kind. The decor in the room was cute and mid-century modern and everything was super clean. The only complaint is the fan would not go off in the bathroom and so it ran pretty much the entire time.. otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room is spacious with a stove and a refrigerator and the dishwasher and the bed was extremely comfortable. The area is very walkable to all types of shops and dining truly a magnificent location.
