With tropical living in mind, the outdoor entertaining area is complete with an outdoor kitchen/BBQ, lounge and dining space overlooking the full-sized swimming pool. The pool is luxuriously heated in the winter months for your comfort. In the warmer months, soak up the sun from the adjacent sundeck. All surrounded by the lush tropical landscaped gardens making Capella Port Douglas an oasis you are never going to want to leave.
The stunning floor to ceiling glass panelled wall separating the kitchen and outdoor living area slides away giving this property a true indoor / outdoor feeling. Natural light and the tropical breeze flows freely through the property. The kitchen is sleek and open plan, with oversized stone bench tops that doubles as a breakfast bar and encompasses all the necessities. This kitchen is an entertainer"s delight - there is even a zip tap for boiling, cold or sparkling water!

The lower level Master suite with king size bed and ensuite has direct pool access and a private garden courtyard with sun lounging area. The upstairs Master suite, incudes an open wet room bathroom, his and her vanities, walk-in-robe, king size bed and a large balcony accessible via floor to ceiling glass panelled walls. A further two bedrooms are located upstairs, both with the option of king or twin bedding configuration. Every bedroom has its own ensuite and robe, with balcony access - There is no short straw to be pulled in this home!
Capella Port Douglas caters for all age groups. The upstairs lounge and kitchenette with powder room is a great retreat for children, and big kids alike, and presents a selection of board games and a television with Netflix access that will keep them entertained for hours.
The property is expansive, yet offers privacy and a space that is complimented by simple sophistication. Perfect holiday house

The house is fabulous. Large and quality appliances. Plenty of cutlery, crockery, linen. Good laundry as well.We stayed 7 nights and it was most enjoyable. The kids just loved the pool and it’s an easy walk to both the beach and shops. Hint - when going to the shops, don’t walk up to port Douglas Road - just cross the road and walk along the road that curves up to Macrossan - much shorter.I can’t think of anything I would like added or changed.

A welcome retreat and escape

The property was excellent. It was well presented and well equipped however I would recommend two additions. One a clothes horse as it is difficult to get things dry on the line and two a step stool (just a small one) as when you are not very tall it is difficult to reach the clothes line etc. Other than those two items everything was great. Thank you! Would love to return.

This house does not disappoint...fabulous

The property was excellent. Spotlessly clean everything you would ever need in the kitchen and outdoor living area. Absolutely loved staying there would highly recommend. Beautiful pool even if it was a bit cold as it hadn't been adjusted for season.
