Charming small house in a large garden, close to the Beach
The house was fully renovated in 2024 and is set within a large garden surrounded by pine trees, just 500 meters from the beach. This is our third guesthouse project (ABRITEL references 1906869 and 1658648). It holds a three-star rating in the tourism classification.
Looking for relaxation? The house is in a quiet neighborhood, and the 900 m² garden offers plenty of spots to settle into a chair for a peaceful nap. Feeling sporty? Bicycles are available for rent at the port (we’ll provide rental addresses). In Port-Bail, you'll find a land sailing base, a sailing school, miles of beaches and coastal trails for walking and cycling, an equestrian center, and even a golf course in the neighboring town of Barneville-Carteret. A pedestrian path and cycle track will take you to the town center along the harbour, so you can leave the car behind. There, you'll find all the necessary shops as well as a great selection of restaurants, bars, and services.
The house is a single-story home (just a small step to enter) and features a bright living area with a cozy lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining space, and a bedroom (140x190 cm bed) that connects to a private shower room and toilet. A Japanese-style staircase visible from the living room leads to a small storage space, which is closed to guests.
Beyond its own attractions, Port-Bail is an ideal base for exploring the Manche region, including the Cotentin and Bessin marshlands, Mont Saint Michel Bay, Granville, Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue and Tatihou Island, Carteret, Utah Beach, and Sainte-Mère-Église. You can also reach the Channel Islands (especially Jersey) via regular ferry services departing from Carteret (about 7 km away) throughout the tourist season—check with the Port-Bail-sur-Mer tourist office for details and travel requirements.

The rental price covers all costs except for the mandatory end-of-stay cleaning fee (€50, payable upon arrival). Beds are made upon arrival, and we provide bath towels, kitchen towels, and utilities.

Das kleine Haus ist sehr schön und modern ausgestattet. Für zwei Personen ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Lage ist perfekt, Portbail und das Meer sind gut zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft empfehlen.

Charmante petite maison, bien équipée, décorée avec soin, idéale pour deux personnes. Emplacement idéal à deux pas de la plage, environnement très calme. Seul détail qui étonne: la porte vitrée de la salle de bains :)! Mais c'est presque anecdotique, cela ne nous empêche pas de garder un très bon souvenir de ce lieu!

das Haus ist für 2 Personen sehr gut, der nahe Strand schön und recht leer. In der Siedlung Portbail Plage stehen leider viele Häuser leer. Der kleine Ort Portbail dagegen ist hübsch und belebt.

Das kleine Haus bietet alles was zwei Personen für einen schönen erholsamen Aufenthalt benötigen.Es ist schön renoviert, modern und geschmackvoll und mit sämtlichen Equipment welches man auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt ausgestattet.Auf dem großen ruhig gelegenen Grundstück befindet sich noch eine abgeschlossene Garage zum Abstellen von z.B. Fahrrädern. Auch Gartenmöbel und ein Grill sind vorhanden. Das Meer erreicht man zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten.Vielen Dank an Valérie für die freundliche Kommunikation bei der Buchung und während unseres Aufenthaltes.Wir würden gerne noch einmal wiederkommen.

Pause agréable à Port-Bail sur mer chez Valérie.
Malgré une météo bien grise durant ce court séjour, nous avons passé un agréable moment dans le gite de Valérie. Celui-ci est très propre, bien aménagé avec beaucoup de goût. Il est très bien équipé et très confortable pour 2 personnes. Il est situé à 5 min de la plage de Port-Bail dans un environnement calme. Très agréable et très propre. Situation idéale pour plages vélo marche… et découverte de l’ouest Cotentin.
Un lit en 160 serait plus confortable ainsi que remise des clés du portail et portillon pour la tranquillité.

Agréable séjour
Nous venons de passer une excellente semaine de vacances dans cette location pour deux personnes.
Cette maison lumineuse est entièrement rénovée depuis peu de temps.
Equipée et meublée avec goût il n'y manque rien. Tout est prévu et fourni. A 5 minutes à pied de la plage sa localisation est parfaite pour se retrouver au calme.
Les contacts avec Valérie ont été faciles et toujours bienveillants.
Nous recommandons tout particulièrement ce logement qui nous laissera de très bons souvenirs de vacances.

SÉJOUR TRES AGREABLE
Proximité du logement avec la plage de PORTBAIL, échange très cordial avec la propriétaire qui nous a accompagné pour notre séjour. La maison est équipée avec tout le nécessaire pour passer de bonnes vacances et la propreté du logement est irréprochable.
