Made our weekend better

So nice of a stay! My fiancé and I had car trouble and had to find a place to stay and quick. I thought we would have to wait forever to check in, but they got us into our room 2 hours early. The breakfast was great too!

I had to pay twice for my one night stay at popular bluff. I had paid for the one night stay but the front desk did not recognize my reservation thru travelocity. I did not get the room that I wanted. It was an absolute disaster. I made the reservation properly thru travelocity and entered the correct dates. This is something I have done hundreds of times so I know how to make online reservations. The front desk told me that reservations thru travelocity sometimes shift to the wrong dates. I want a refund thru travelicity for the botched charge or I will never use travelicity again.

The staff at this hotel was fantastic. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the free breakfast buffet. The only complaint we had is that our room on the 4th floor had a STRONG mildew smell. We couldn't find a source, and everything looked very clean, but the smell was overpowering. We could still smell it in our clothes after we left.

Great location with nice restaurant options. I got take out from a close-by sushi restaurant and the food was excellent. Very friendly staff and facilities were clean. My only complaint: this is the 2nd fairly new Fairfield Inn in which I stayed and the sound proofing is not good. I could hear my neighbor whenever he had a normal volume conversation on the phone (in other words, he wasn’t being loud at all but I could still hear him). I also heard another neighbor snoring. While everything else was great, I wouldn’t recommend to light sleepers.
