Peaceful Getaway with Amazing Views

Our family's week at Jacques's house was absolutely wonderful. The house itself is beautiful and thoughtfully equipped, offering truly breathtaking views that you could spend all day admiring. We appreciated being just a short drive from the beach, yet still enjoying the peace and quiet away from the main crowds. The option to enjoy stunning morning hikes right from the backyard and then unwind on the beach in the afternoon was perfect. Jacques is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Magical Place

This was our second stay at Jacques' house which is truly special in the most incredible location. The house is completely private, surrounded by nature with sublime views of vineyards, mountains with the sea in the distance. It's a place to completely relax and recharge, and is very quiet. The very stylish house is designed for open plan outdoor/indoor living and works beautifully. There is everything you need for a comfortable, fantastic stay. Jacques is a warm and wonderful host - and always on hand for advice. We loved the peaceful location, but you are only 15 minutes from lovely St Florent with all its shops, cafes and restaurants. It really is a magical place, and we can't recommend enough. We'll be back again! Thank you Jacques!

Beautiful Panoramic Views and Indoor / Outdoor Living

We were a group of 7 adults and the villa was just perfect for us. The living space was spectacular, with no divide between the indoor and outdoor spaces. Many an evening was spent around the dining table (or on top of it, when the Osteopath paid a visit!). The design of the space is perfect for a group, with the bedrooms independent of each other to give privacy when desired. Plenty of spaces to relax and read, sunbathe or take a nap. The whole place overwhelmed with the intoxicating scent of rosemary and lavender. The location is great with several good restaurants within 15 minute walk and just a short drive to charming Saint Florent. A week wasn't long enough for us - I would return in a heartbeat!

Location, Lage und Ruhe waren genial, leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen, keine Möglichkeit die Unterkunft in irgend einer Weise abzuschließen, bei schlechtem Wetter hat man keine Möglichkeit vernüftig im Haus zu sitzen oder zu essen.

La maison de Jacques est à son image: Ouverte sur le monde. La vue, mais quelle vue de la terrasse ! Un petit aménagement d'accès à la cabane est à prévoir, mais pour le reste ,tout est top.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour … Le site est magique !! Nous avons visité le bâtiment grand site de France à Saint Florent et oh surprise votre maison est juste face à ce territoire : mer, vignes , villages , golfe , montagne …un endroit plus paradisiaque n’existe pas ! Tous les jours différents et tous les jours merveilleux . Félicitations aussi pour votre maison dedans dehors , une vraie réussite architecturale. Heureux homme que d’habiter ici !!! En bref et pour faire court nous avons adoré Cordialement

Maison et cadre exceptionnels

Nous avons loué la maison de Jacques, ainsi que la dépendance, pour accueillir nos familles et amis durant la semaine de notre mariage. Cette maison était parfaite pour l'occasion ! Les chambres réparties sur différents niveaux permettent à chacun de s'isoler s'ils le souhaitent. La table extérieure est suffisamment grande pour tous se retrouver aux repas et à l'apéro. L'intérieur est minimaliste mais bien décoré et confortable. La propriété est bien située, proche de Saint Florent, à 10mn du supermarché. L'endroit est calme, dans un cadre authentique. La maison est entourée par la nature. Très bonne communication avec l'hôte, Jacques. Merci encore !

Unique jaw-dropping beauty

Jacques’ place is very special - it felt like we had wandered into the set of a Condé Naste Traveller photo shoot. The location, the incredible view, the huge, beautiful and very sympathetically designed decking area really allow you to relax - a true holiday. The infinity pool is a great size - our teenage sons loved it. The pretty town of Saint Florent is very close, as is the beautiful coast of the Desert des Agriates and a good shop is very nearby. Jacques is very prompt and helpful with any questions.

Spectacular villa in an amazing location, but note the lack of AC and bedrooms in separate buildings

The position of this beautiful, unpretentious, essencial place is second to none. The last property on the track, it feels secluded and private, yet the views to the back are nothing short of epic. We appreciate the environmental reasons for not offering AC, but in august it meant we lost sleep every night with even the powerful fans failing to keep the temperature at a reasonable level. Would be good if the owners fixed a few things (some of the doors didn’t lock on the bedrooms with outside access which added some anxiety when our kids were sleeping there) and a kitchen drawer that never wanted to close! It was pretty close to prefect so I don’t want my critique to outweigh the positives, it just felt that a few corrections would really make it really shine.

Des vacances détendues, entourés de familles, d'amis , dans une ambiance chaleureuse , voila ce que permet cette maison extraordinaire Chacun trouve son rythme, tout en respectant celui des autres. Les espaces communs sont superbes permettant des grandes tablées, des conversations qui n'en finissent pas, une piscine très agréable et toujours une vue exceptionelle entre mer, vignes et maquis. Bref un lieu de vacances magique qui ne donne qu'une seule envie : y revenir vite

What you see is what you get: amazing!

This architectural masterpiece combines simplicity and great taste! The house is at a location that is nothing more than breath taking and from the 1st moment you arrive you feel totally disconnected, spoiled throughout the day and the night with a magnificent view. Apart from the master bedrooms, all other rooms (in an annex opposite to the pool) may be a bit small but well equipped with small bathrooms. The pools is superb because of its simplicity and... its length. Last but not least, you get from time to time entertained by Leo, the cat in the house. Such a lovely place we didn't want to leave!!

La Corse , comme vous la rêvez!

Nous venons de passer une semaine de rêves dans la villa de Jacques: U Papucciu. Située dans l'arrière pays de St Florent, la villa jouit d'une vue absolument magnifique qui permet au visiteur d'embrasser du regard mer et montagne. Le soir les couchers de soleil se révèlent magiques. Elle est également située à proximité de nombreux sites (Cap Corse, less Agriates, la plage de Saliccia), permettant d'entreprendre facilement diverses excursions. La villa bénéficie de tout confort et nous a particulièrement séduit par son architecture résolument moderne: chaque chambre bénéficie de sa salle de bain (ouverte), la cuisine complète est équipée d' électroménagers performants (y compris une machine Nespresso!) et les repas se prennent sur le patio externe sur une grande table commune, gage de convivialité. Cerise sur le gâteau la piscine, qui peut être chauffée, appréciable à la mi-saison. Les conseils de Jacques pour profiter des sorties et restaurants aux alentours ont été précieux (ne manquez pas le restaurant A Magina, assez proche et excellent). Surtout, nous avons apprécié la prévenance et l'attention qui nous ont été prodiguées afin d'assurer que notre séjour se déroule sans problèmes. Ces attentions, la villa et les charmes du lieu, nous auront permis de passer des vacances inoubliables. Reste une question: que veut dire Papucciu?
