The food was delicious! The entertainment was nightly and engaging! The staff was very friendly. Overall this place was very nice and had shops within walking distance. The only reason I’m not giving this a 5 star rating is because there isn’t a full beach access that you can lay out on daily. The property is on a waterfront, but there isn’t a beach, lots of fishing boats tho. Another thing is there aren’t any drawers/ storage is the bedrooms.

the property was beautiful, check in was a mess but not Orbitz fault...the first part of trip was through another travel agent. The second part of trip was through Orbitz, the hotel did not receive payment for the first three days, and did not combine the reservations so we could stay in same beach front walk out room which was available the first three days, and they moved us to a master suite looking over the pools and ocean. The hotel did not have hot water for three days of our stay. But we were not the only travelers that this happened to, many were told their stay was not paid?? it was a mess The staff was amazing, staying calm through this, I have no desire to go back to Playa del Carmen

Great staff. My safe didn’t work at least twice though. One time I had it reset and the other time, I didn’t bother with it since it continued to be a problem and my stay was almost up. There was loud music and guests at night. I couldn’t get laundry service done and I could not schedule transportation from the hotel ahead of time so I had to use a taxi (which was less than ideal).

La comida deliciosa, el personal es increíble! Amables, dispuestos, sonrientes: el saludo poniendo su mano en el corazón es algo que no había visto antes. Instalaciones de primera. Quizá el ambiente se torna para un público extranjero, y yo soy mexicana, así que extrañé un ambiente festivo, dispuesto, cálido. El grupo de animación con energía y profesional con un público apático y difícil de captar al cien. Gracias por una estancia placentera, de descanso y con un paisaje hermoso. Clean room, staff are always friendly. Building is in need of some maintenance. Elevator near our room did not work and exterior was in need of some repair. When we first started going there they had a lot of beach area. However, much of it is now gone.

Well stocked bar, beach front view, very friendly staff. Safe surrounding areas to go for a stroll. Great resort to stay at.

So many things made this stay not ideal. The welcome drink was a mocktail at an all adult, all inclusive resort. The key to the room was a key card and not a bracelet so you had to remember to bring it everywhere with you. They gave you key cards for the pool towels and you had to turn them back in everyday in order to get new towels. The food was horrible and they didn’t start serving any alcohol until 11am! Online our room stated we got an exclusive beach cabana and they didn’t accommodate that either. I will never be going back to this resort!

I was very happy with our stay! The room, along with the entire resort, was spotless. This was my first experience with all inclusive, and it was definitely fun to have access to whatever you wanted! The highlight of the trip was the outstanding service by the staff, especially the servers. Everyone was so welcoming and fun. I was so impressed by the food at Off the Hook. The poke bowl is absolutely delicious! I visited all of the restaurants and really enjoyed Zarape and Bella. Brasas was ok. The buffet was great for breakfast as they had lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola. But, it's a buffet, so inherently not as good as the restaurants are. The pizza at the pool is awesome! I appreciated that the resort has reusable cups. Don't skip the beach bar. I loved sitting on the swings looking out at the ocean. There were two things that weren't ideal, but not huge issues. I had a first-floor room that overlooked the pool. The upside of this location is that I could easily get coffee in the morning and go back to my room while at the pool. The downside is that it was pretty loud, especially the evening entertainment from the lobby and early in the mornings when carts were wheeled down the hall. The evening entertainment didn't go too late, and I always travel with earplugs so it was ok. The other thing was that there wasn't a blow dryer in my room and when I asked for one I was told there weren't any extras, so a bit of a bummer. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!
