Anniversary trip.

Nicely furnished. Temperature was a little cool for us, but had the fireplace which helped. We spent most of our time in Pittsburgh but enjoyed Tanger Outlet and easy access to lots of dining and shopping opportunities. Host was very responsive and had no issues with the facilities. Our last night it was a little noisy, but not a problem. Overall we had a good experience.

Cozy apartment in quiet neighborhood

This ground-level apartment in the owner’s home is lovely, and things are well labeled. The neighborhood is peaceful and close to lots of restaurants, to the interstate, and to downtown Washington. The bed and furniture are comfy. Bring slippers if you prefer to have something on your feet inside. A nice place to stay.

Cosy and well appointed

This cosy apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and the bathroom was spanking new. Host Joanna was very gracious. She put out a magazine article on the Meadowcroft Rock Shelter because she knew we were interested in it. It was fun to find school buses converted to ice cream trucks in the driveway and ice cream sandwiches as welcome gifts in the freezer. Another unique feature was the chicken run outside the door (the chicken never made noise.) Altogether delightful

Basement apartment

Overall very clean except for some mold in tracks of shower. Bedding could be upgraded,microfiber sheets very thin and uncomfortable. Nice property for price. Upstairs noise with running on Sat night until 10pm.

Convenient and Cozy

A tasteful and well-appointed apartment in a lovely neighborhood. Johanna and Jason are thoughtful and friendly hosts. This is the lower level of a home, so you may hear the daily rhythms of the family, which we found comfortable and familiar. Hoping to stay again on a future visit!

Awesome Eclipsing!

We chose Washington, PA as our "base" for the 2024 Eclipse. The apartment was perfect for our needs - clean, comfy, and including amenities. The signs everywhere were great - every light switch was labeled and when I wondered where something was, there was a sign or label telling me. The couple times I needed something our hosts took care of it right away. Very much recommend!

In town for the night

My wife and I came out with our daughter for business. We found this property and to be honest, it was amazing!! The owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Previous reviews had mentioned dog noise. We didn’t hear anything! It was quiet, private and comfortable. Owners were very friendly. I loved the chicken coop outback! The property was clean, well stocked with anything you might need, everything is new and stylish. We will definitely be staying again next time we are in the area! We got lucky to have found this last minute.

Charming Home and Hosts

Perfect accommodations after the Phish concert.The apartment was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hosts are absolutely charming and even shared their chickens’ eggs with us. Wonderful experience!!!

Weekend baseball Stay

My wife and I stayed for a long weekend for my sons baseball tournament in the area. We were close to everything from the baseball fields to food and shopping. Our stay was very chill and relaxing while at the property. The hosts were amazing human beings based on our interactions. They very much left us with privacy if that is anyone’s concern. Very clean place to stay. With that at home feel. Safe neighborhood to be in. If we return to Pennsylvania we will most certainly stay here again.

Lovely little gem

Lovely space, furnished well, with a super responsive host. Only downsides are minor-your parking space is under a tree with a lot of birds, so plan on a car wash after your stay and make sure to inquire if the puppy will be present-whined and yipped terribly when the owners were gone. When the owners are home, do expect noise equivalent to living in a downstairs apartment (as that is what the space truly is). Enjoyed the streaming services and the place of respite, would most likely return!

I stayed solo most of the time, my brother came one night and was quite happy to shower and sleep!

Great location, easy access to freeways, and any type of entertainment you would want. Love the chickens and the goats. A 'heaven' located in an urban setting.
