I didn’t plan to leave a review, but this experience has been weighing on me since our trip.We stayed here about a year ago and had a great experience, which is why we booked again for a mountain getaway. Unfortunately, this visit was completely different.We arrived at 3:00 PM after a 3 hour drive and found the property had not been cleaned. This was extremely inconvenient, especially since we had a 5:00 PM dinner show and wanted time to settle in. I messaged the host at 2:50 PM and received no response.During dinner, I couldn’t enjoy myself because I kept checking for a reply. By 6:30 PM, I called the contact number, which led to customer service—not the host. The representative was kind but couldn’t reach the host after multiple attempts.By 7:30 PM, we still had nowhere to stay, over three hours from home, with a three-night reservation. After calling multiple times, the host finally responded and was initially rude. She then said no cleaner had been scheduled but would send one.The cleaner didn’t arrive until 8:45 PM, and we couldn’t settle in until 9:30 PM. The cleaning felt rushed and unprofessional. We never received a follow-up message or apology.This was extremely disappointing, especially given our past stay. As paying customers, we expected better communication and preparation. We will not be returning.
