Wonderful place, wonderful host, beautiful views

Villa Lamaro is an awesome place. The views are amazing. The villa is awesome and the opportunities for local sightseeing and visits are brilliant. You can walk (steeply downhill on a road) to the sea, and Luca is a fabulous host. It's a big, wonderful place that's well worth the cost of a visit!

Amazing property! We loved our stay at Villa Lamaro. The property was exceptionally well cared for, and the views were spectacular. Luca, who was the owner and caretaker of the villa was amazing, and took care of all our requests. He is also a wonderful chef, and one evening cooked and served us a fantastic meal. Amazing property

We loved our stay at Villa Lamaro. The property was exceptionally well cared for, and the views were spectacular. An absolutely beautiful villa in a perfect location. Private and secluded yet conveniently located between Sorento and Positano. Amazing views in every direction. Impeccably well kept and perfect for a family gathering. Luca was the most accomadating host. Can't wait to return!

Absolutely Amazing !!! This fantastic villa offers stunning views and it has all you need to relax and enjoy time with family and friends cooking and eating. Luca was amazing an amazing host and ensured we had all we needed at the villa and gave us great suggestions on what to do and were to eat around town and coast during our stay. its by far the most amazing space and place I have vacationed and a paradise to go relax, enjoy and spend time with loved ones in a more private setting . Amazing!

Six friends just returned from a most wonderful two weeks exploring the Amalfi coast. We rented Villa Lamaro and were totally delighted with it. Luca, our manager, was very accommodating and helpful in suggesting what to do. The house was emaculate thanks to Rafiele and comfortable for all of us. You would be very fortunate to spend time here.

Once in a lifetime This villa is amazing. For over 20 years I have returned to this villa bringing family and friends. It’s like having your own private mansion in the hills in sorrento Touring the beautiful amalfi coast becomes a challenge because you never want to leave this house. The owner is attentive and responds immediately to all needs. The house is so comfortable with a huge kitchen, swimming pool, and beautiful rooms each with their own bathroom. I highly recommend staying here. The only difficulty you may encounter is the feeling you never want to travel anywhere else but back to Villa Lamaro. Source: FlipKey

A week in paradise with family

The Villa Lamaro was absolutely amazing. The house has the most breath taking views and is perfect for outdoor living. We were a family of 8 and spent the majority of the time outside. The owner Luca is one of the nicest people we have ever met. He is accommodating and willing to help you with anything. The house, patio and garden areas are absolutely immaculate and you can see the the pride of ownership the moment you meet Luca. In addition, a house keeper comes every day and cleans for hours to ensure that the house remains clean. My only recommendation would be that the bathroom could use some updates, but everything else is so amazing that it really didn’t bother us at all. Piano de Sorrento sits perfectly between the overcrowded Sorrento and Positano with taxi rides to so many popular cities. You just need to be more organized and schedule rides ahead of time if you decide to not rent a car. We really enjoyed the remoteness and spent a lot of time at the local restaurants that made us feel like family from the moment we left. Would highly recommend Quercus Lunch Bar (new restaurant with the most amazing family) and Zio Sams (amazing Italian food with breathtaking views and friendly staff). Our family cannot wait to come back to Villa Lamaro…we will definitely be back.

We will definitely return to this beautiful place again. Although a little hard to find at first what a treat it was when we found it. It was a spacious and amazing place to stay with breath taking views which I could have sat and looked at all day and night and I would have never been bored. The gardens around are lush and green. The pool is a good size and there is a shower, umbrellas, chairs and towels. etc you can use. The terrace is spacious and is a great sun trap in the day and has sun beds if you wish to lie out. The bedrooms are comfortable and all have a bathrooms with plenty of cupboard and draw space for your clothes. The kitchen has everything you need if you wish to eat in. There is a dishwasher and washing machine and they provided Dishwasher tablets and washing powder if you wish to use them. The cleaner came in every day to tidy up. Downstairs is comfortable and the front room with couches a good place to relax. The villa owner Luca checked on us to see all was ok and was very kind and hospitable and wanting to make our stay a memorable one. He had good contacts and advised us of a good taxi driver we could use and a arranged our trip to Capri door to door with Capitano Ago. It made a great base to stay and explore the area as it was right in the hub of all the great places however you were in a secluded place that was a haven to return to after a hectic day. We went to Herculaneum, Sorrento, Positano, Ravello, Amalfi but the highlight was going to Capri for the day on a boat what a Wonderful place it is. It was the day we all enjoyed the most. The villa caters for your ever need and does not disappoint. We will definitely return to this beautiful place again.
