The hotel was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is arranged as a number of different areas, each with its own theme (garden view, pool view, etc.) and all with decor to resemble tradition Thai buildings. The hotel also had a very good Thai restaurant with a very good selection of traditional Thai cuisine. The restaurant was also where an excellent breakfast buffet was served. Although the hotel is located in a busy area close to Kata beach and the Kata night market and local shops and restaurants, its setting and layout made it a very quiet location to stay. Definitely recommended.

Gorgeous Hotel

An amazing hotel, we stayed in one of the Cabana Suites and it was amazing to have access to the gorgeous pool and a private deck. The staff here were all lovely! We only stayed one night but it was so nice we’d love to go back.

This place is stunning! If you want to get the flavor of Phuket, Sawasdee is the place. Decor is off the charts gorgeous. Do the cooking class! Food delicious. Pools lovely.

Sawasdee Village exceeded our expectations. It was the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. All the detail that went into this hotel is incredible. Our room was amazing. It was very spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Our bed was very comfortable and huge! We loved the pool access from our patio and the swim up bar in the pool. The pool was huge and beautiful especially at night. We would definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing stay.

The resort is great though a little dated. The neighborhood is kind of sleazy and dirty. The resort is like a gem in the dirt. However, the neighborhood has all kind of restaurants and shops. It is walkable and convenient.

Beautiful hotel in a slightly disappointing resort

Unique feel, all on one level, beautifully laid out and very attractive. Beautiful room. Two pools, though it seems one is only available if you have an upgraded room - but the main pool is lovely. Excellent breakfast selection and quality. All staff friendly and efficient. On site spa is not as cheap as those on the street, but massage was excellent (and more private). Standard rooms have small sitting area out front which is not private - some are right next to the pool - which some might find off-putting. Only real downsides (1) mosquitos - the hotel tries to control them but they are rampant (2) Kata Beach area is a little uninteresting, not helped by the view of the beach being blocked from the main road (Karon is better).

Very beautiful, worth the price. Pool with bar , room service , friendly staff , they will order taxis for you, wash your clothes, very convenient. There’s a buffet breakfast for cheap or you can walk across the street to 7/11 , all day breakfast , & a nice local lady that makes the best fruit smoothies 10/10 recommend
