Cookroaches and insect. Don’t go!

Our worst experience in a hotel. The rooms had cockroaches, the bed has small bugs moving...we left the place inmidianthy for a new hotel. Don’t go! Hotel asqueroso y sucio. Cucarachas y pequeños insectos en la cama de la habitación. Nos fuimos inmediatamente a otro hotel. No vayáis !!!

This is totally Scam please be aware and report them because the property is closed completely when i came at night on 1st Feb 2025 there is no one available at the hotel i waited for 1-2 hours, the phone number is also wrong. So many other people's telling me that this hotel is closed since long and i didn't see someone's there, as well as i found some envelopes also in front of the hotel gate i didn't understood the thai language but i guess some banking envelopes. Then i go to another hotel near with them in the name of "Lub Sbuy Hostel" they give the room and also telling me the same as above.... When i check out from Lub Sbuy Hostel and go outside i saw 3 other russian guys in front of the " Shapone guest house" They also paid to the hotel for room and the hotel was still closed so i talk them the same situation they also shocked and disappointed and make complaint on them i already complaint on the mean time also sending email to Expedia Support Team, please take serious action about them and make it possible to seal them also remove it from the website.

Workers smoke and are loud all night chatting.

Stayed one night to prepare for the islands. The location is right beside the bus station, which is convenient from getting to/from Phuket airport. Cost was 100baht for the local bus to the airport versus the 500baht some of the rip off taxi's wanted. Other than the location being prime, the AC worked well, as did the shower. The bed was clean, but stiff. The room says non-smoking, but the room reeks of cigarette smoke because the worker constantly smokes right outside our room. The worst part of the stay was the employees. They stayed in the room beside ours, and with as thin as the walls are, they were up talking at a volume that was loud enough to hear until 4am and continued on at 7am. Who knows what kind of partying was happening with them. We never saw them except when smoking outside our room. The street is noticeable, but easily disguised with earplugs, or white noise.. but the voices kept us up all night. On top of that, the wifi shows available signal, but it doesn't work. Luckily we had a sim card to stay connected. Overall, a cheap stay that is convienent, but would have rather spent more for a full nights sleep.

Good little hotel friendly staff good location to old town and pier. Rooms were clean very good bathroom. Beds were a little on the hard side for me.. very good aircon .... tv and coffee and water provided

Ikävintä oli että kallis I padi varastettiin huoneesta kun olin iltaa viettämässä latureineen. Olin ikkunattomassa huoneessa , huonetta ei siivottu päivän aikana. Sijanti melko hyvä.

Great hotel

The hotel is super nice and clean and the staff was friendly and nice, but the area around is not that nice. Maybe because Phuket city is such a small city. Or maybe because it was the beginning of the week.

Good for layover to phi phi islands

The lady at the desk couldn’t have been friendlier, considering I arrived at 1AM. She was very accommodating so thank you and I’m really sorry for waking you up! Room was windowless, a little spartan in terms of decor, and this is not the hotels fault at all but pretty sure there was drag racing outside, so bring earplugs. Good for a night stay, but probably not much longer.

easy and clean

We stayed 2 nights at ChaPhone. Front desk staff was mostly quiet and didn't go out of their way to acknowledge us, but were helpful when asked. The room was nice and quiet, we had an interior room. mattress was very very firm, okay for me but my wife was aching. Location was alright, close to bus station but outside the main bustle.

Vet inte varför det fått så bra betyg. Ser faktiskt inget positivt med hotellet. Ligger så långt bort ifrån allt det bara går. Vi skulle hitta en taxi på kvällen in till patong men det tog oss 30 minuters promenad innan vi hittade en moppetaxi som ringde en vän som körde in oss. Menar finns inget alls där och göra, varken som par, vänner eller familj. Helt dött område. Och själva hotellet var inget speciellt det heller samt att deras wi-fi var lika dåligt som att inte ha något alls.

Recommended

I arrived fairly late at Chaphone Guesthouse and received a very warm welcome. I was offered advice on my onward travel and a noodle bar down the road where I can get a good meal. The room was a good size, clean and came with complimentary wifi and water - well worth the money (not that it was particularly expensive). I only stayed here for one night before heading to Koh Lanta but would definitely stay here again for longer if I'm ever back in Phuket. Only tiny downside for me was that the bedroom doors were external and I would personally rather internal for security as a solo traveller.

3 super Nächte mit gutem Service und gutem Schlaf!

Meine Freundin und ich waren im ChaPhone Guesthouse für drei Nächte und wir hatten eine super sauberes Zimmer (auch das Bad), haben jeden Tag das Zimmer gemacht bekommen und jeweils neues Wasser und Instant Coffee. Da unser Flug um 05:00 morgens ging hat uns die nette Frau der Rezeption um 02:45 nachts ein Taxi für 700 Baht gerufen - sie war mehr als freundlich zu uns und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Sehr zu empfehlen für einen kürzeren Aufenthalt!

Super hotel für phuket town

Hatten das zimmer mit Aircon im 4 stock und waren mehr als zufrieden damit. Es ist sehr groß und sieht einladend aus. Das Badezimmer ist ebenfalls sehr groß. Die sauberkeit war für deutsche verhältnisse akzeptabel ;) . Es ist nachts super ruhig. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und hilft bei de weiteren Reiseplanung. Wer in Phuket town in der Nähe des piers übernachten möchte ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.
