As I prepared for my trip to Arizona, I reached out to the host, Gomy, a couple of days before my arrival but received no response until the day I arrived. Upon arrival around 10:30 pm, I had to contact Gomy again just to locate the key.I had no access to the internet during the stay. When I asked, I was told the internet was down but would be fixed that day. After that, I requested the Wi-Fi information and was told it was under the router, but no such information could be found.When I entered the apartment, it was immediately clear it had not been cleaned. The dish drainer was full of dishes, the stove was covered in a thick, burnt-on layer, and I questioned whether it was functional, so I did not use it. The apartment was sparsely furnished. The second bedroom had only a box spring and mattress on the floor. The master bedroom had just one undersized sheet and only one white blanket that covered a portion the bed. The bathroom had several used bars of soap and only one new one.Despite these issues, and many others, I stayed for the duration of my trip due to time constraints and lack of alternatives. I have taken photos if further clarification is needed.Given the condition of the apartment, I strongly recommend this property be removed from VRBO until it is properly cleaned, furnished, and verified as guest-ready. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling misled and disappointed.
