A decent hotel at a reasonable price

I stayed here for two nights. I used accumulated rewards points to pay for my stay. This is a good hotel to stay at if you are on a budget. In addition the location is walking distance to the riverside, restaurants and bars.

A good budget option

A good budget option. Your mileages may vary, but I was looking for a budget option close to st. 172, riverside, and rest of the usual (early) nightlife scene. This place is close enough to the action, but still far enough that street noise won't be a problem. The room was ok: nothing specific to write home about but still clean enough etc. All this said, as a smoker, what I really liked was the 4th floor balcony with spectacular views.

Excellent value for money

The staff were terrific and very knowledgeable about attractions. Organised a very reliable tuk tuk driver to take us to the Tamao zoo and the airport. Close to main attractions and restaurants. We'll recommended.

Decent place, good location near museum, river.

We stayed here before and were satisfied so came back when we returned to town. Price was higher this time and they didn't remember us even though we had only been gone 3 days and they requested we return, so had to fill out paperwork again. Were bummed to discover that even though we had reserved a room with double bed, we were given two twins, and told too bad, we don't have any more doubles. Then the bathroom lights were out so we had to ask a staff member to come up and change the bulbs at 8pm. They did change it promptly.

There's no elevator so you have to take the stairs and the rooms were pretty small. Less than 20 m2. They had some linen draped above the bed to make it look more fancy, like there's a canopy. The window had a view of the park across the street.

Gone to seed

Older hotel that hasn't been looked after. Very little worked and many things are broken. Shower dripped constantly, tv didn't work, broken flush mechanism. Bathroom light switch broken. Cleaning on only one of my three days, involved tipping rubbish from onto floor and sweeping it out the door. Staff were not helpful, when you could find someone. One man tried fixing shower and tv. Didn't work and left a mess in both areas. Still there when I left. Had to ask for toilet paper, none in room.

Pretty good value

No complaints other than having to ask for clean towels and room cleaning but I think this is more because they value guest privacy and do not wish to wake up late sleeping guests. Will stay here again next time.

Phnom Penh - 2014 Xmas

Great stay. Clean hotel, reasonably quiet and safe - felt comfortable leaving my passport and other valuables in room. Amazing location - next to the national museum and royal palace. The door handle to my room was slightly broken when they checked me in, but they fixed it with a new handle within 5 minutes. They're all about supporting you!

An inexpensive hotel with friendly staff

A tragically location in the city centre.

It was the water festival and all the attractions like royal palace, museum were closed. And we had to walk to the bus station as the road were closed for tuk tuk. However, we did enjoy the festival by watching the dragon boat racing and fireworks .

Fairly average hotel for the area

Bed was pretty comfortable and sheets were fine. Room itself was large and clean, but aged. It was rather dark inside, the only window was to a dark hallway. Hotel staff was friendly enough and left us alone. There's some relation with the place two doors down, and the food comes from there. Location was great, only a block from the riverfront, and overlooking the National Museum and Palace. Lots of restaurant options nearby.
