This is a charming Inn in a 19th-century mansion, full of interesting architectural details and grandeur. On the main floor are dining and lounge areas, all with interesting furniture and art that speak to a different age. The host, Claudia, is lovely and attentive. She provided great recommendations for meals and activities in Petersburg, and was flexible about breakfast time. If you are bored with standard hotels, this is a relaxing escape to an intriguing and personable stay.
