The hotel left a lot to be desired. It is equivalent to a Motel 6 and not worth the price. I would have been better off with a tent. The room was dirty and drafty. The staff was unresponsive.

Cute, quirky accommodation in the middle of nowhere with everything you need for a few days. Gorgeous open bar in the desert. We were lucky enough to see a a super moon rise from the bar area.

It's not the Hilton but facilities are clean and adequate. Best steak at the restaurant I've had for years and priced as well as any Sydney restaurant.

There are really no other options for lodging in the King's Canyon area so if you want to see it, this is where you stay. The people at the resort were very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very nice. The food in the restaurant in the evening was tasty but the complimentary breakfast was a bit lacking in quality though they did offer more fruit than other similar places. We stayed in several national park lodges in Tasmania and those lodgings were far superior to this one at much less cost. I know this is a remote location so that adds to the cost, but the accomodations and food provided did not warrant the price that was charged.

We landed our plane at nearby Kings Canyon Station. A staff manager from Discover came to collect us. They also dropped back to our plane the next day. They were most helpful, unlike Kings Canyon Station staff (manager) who were not very friendly (except for the lady at Reception taking our landing and overnight Fee who was nice)

The room was felt new and very comfortable. Loved the atmosphere around the resort. Felt like going to an adult summer camp. Very low key, happy hour, live music at night, killer sunsets. Would highly recommend.
