Amenities were good and the room was a great size. The location is quite noisy depending on which room you're allocated, and breakfast was a bit chaotic with staff struggling to keep up with demand.

Enjoyed our stay in a garden room. Although the gardens aren’t totally finished it’s nice to see the progress being made and on a sunny day it’s nice to have direct access. Fantastic meal in the kitchen restaurant. We had dined in prevost on previous occasions but the standard of dishes in the other restaurant was great. Friendly reception when we arrived. Breakfast is fantastic. If you are looking for a night or two to relax in a pretty and period setting then this hotel is recommended.

Wow what a fabulous find this hotel was. From the moment we walked through the door we were met by a friendly receptionist who showed us around. We had a garden patio room and it was gorgeous. Our evening meal was divine, I had Stonebass and my husband had Tomahawk Pork. Breakfast was outstanding, the best my husband says he has ever had! We will be returning.

Beautiful hotel in picturesque Wansford. What a lovely location, quaint village. Walks by the riverside and a fantastic facility. Both dinner & breakfast were great, great choice of wines and beers at the bar. Lovely outside area to sit and take in the atmosphere. I'd imagine a great wedding reception could be had here. Lots of outside space including a large marquee whilst I was there. Shout out Thomas who was nothing less than a perfect host in the bar. Can't recommend this gem enough.

Beautiful building and grounds. The staff were fantastic and very welcoming. The hotel is very dog friendly. We had a room with a door to a private patio and access to the gardens. Our wee dog absolutely loved it. The gym is ok for a hotel, with a decent amount of weights and a few cardio machines. The highlight had to be the incredible food we had for dinner. They deserve their three rosettes. It really was a wonderful meal. The bar and outside seating area was lovely on a warm evening too. We would love to stay again.

Only downside was black mold on the shower tray edge but the power shower was awesome. The breakfast room is nicely decorated and the food on offer was of excellent quality and well cooked.goos continental selection. Overall it is a lovely hotel and we would stay again.

This property is exceptional. Great location and fantastic atmosphere and a great mix of modern amenities mixed with a traditional building appearance. The breakfast was superb and the room comfort was exceptional but beyond all that the thing that makes this place one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at is the staff. All incredibly helpful but beyond that personable and able to converse or have a brief joke while still carrying out their work incredibly efficiently. You’ll not be disappointed by a stay here and I would highly recommend it.
