Henry’s Cottage Penola, in the Coonawarra wine region of South Australia, is a delightful little timber cottage nestled beneath old walnut trees. This sweet little cottage is reminiscent of yesteryear and full of rustic charm yet with modern conveniences making it perfect for a short break.  We have borrowed some of the delights typical of cottages in England, France and Australia to create a wonderful and unique cottage atmosphere inside and out. With a private garden and situated just a leisurely 5 minute stroll from Penola town centre, Henry's Cottage is a romantic, relaxing and convenient retreat for two, ideal for together time and special occasions. Your accommodation includes the entire cottage, private garden, fire pit,  complimentary wifi, air-con, secure on-site car parking, contactless arrival, peace and quiet and all that the good life of the Coonawarra has to offer. Your small furry canine friend is welcome by prior arrangement.
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchenette and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include an electric kettle and an ironing board. Housekeeping is available on request.

This is an absolute gem! Beautifully clean, lots of thoughtful touches, and the perfect size and location for a getaway for two. It's only a few minutes' walk from the main street, and we loved the garden surrounding too. (So many birds!) Highly recommended.
