Penela Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home of Jos! The house was located close to cafe's and attractions in Penela. The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain. The house was more than affordable! Jos even checked on us twice to make sure everything was ok. Thank you for letting us stay.

Ideal Getaway In Sleepy Portuguese Village.

My friend and I were staying here on a trip viewing property to buy in the area. The nicest house we saw on the trip was the one we were staying in! It is every bit as good as it seems in the photos - especially the garden area. A great place to soak up the Portuguese sunshine. Jose, the owner was there to greet us and was very helpful. Although one probably does need a car to stay here although we did walk to Penela one day - 3.2 miles. - perfectly do-able.

Cela fait deux fois que nous venons chez José et nous y sommes toujours aussi bien reçu ; gentillesse, attention… ce gîte est bien situé, dans un petit village sympathique. Nous y sommes bien ; village pour les courses à proximité, Coimbra, ville magnifique, est à 1/2 heure… Merci José d’avoir contribué à ses belles vacances et à bientôt…

Super accueil, petit village avec des habitants très gentils, endroit calme, maison très agréable où l'on ne manque de rien. Franchement le propriétaire a pensé à tout, l'extérieur est idéal : on peut prendre le petit - déjeuner en toute tranquillité tout en profitant de la belle vue sur les montagnes, ainsi que sur le joli jardin. Et l'on ne peut pas s'ennuyer ! La région de Penela comprend d'innombrables sites et villages à visiter, ainsi que des lieux de baignade. Nous avons beaucoup aimé ces belles vacances !! un grand merci à José ! Hervé et Régine

Compleet huis met prachtige tuin

Het was goed toeven in huis en tuin. Tuin compleet met ligbedden en douche. Je hebt wel een auto bij het huisje nodig voor alles.

Très belle maison typiquement traditionnelle bien équipé et la fraîcheur on a même pas besoin de climatisation Propriétaire super à l’écoute répond rapidement au message très gentil. La maison et situé pas loin de la ville a 10min en voiture. Je reviendrai avec plaisir avec ma petite famille.

On as très apprécié, ce séjour, endroit ( hormis un chien qui aboie trop souvent) très agréable, les voisins sont sympa et accueillants, Juste un petit désagrément, pour garer son véhicule, obligé de le garer sur une petite placette a 30 mètres , mais après discussion avec la propriétaire du terrain ceci c'est arrangé....

Superbe location

Maison petite mais très joliment agencée, située dans un petit village (trsè calme mais un peu difficile d'accès la première fois) . Le logement est super-équipé, TV, Internet, Electro (petit et gros), linge de cuisine, de couchage .. etc .. etc.. Malgré le covid-19 et les mesures en cours au Portugal la communication avec le propriétaire a été parfaite. Si on doit revenir dans la région on n'hésitera pas à revenir ici.

tout était parfaitement organisé pour que nous ayons tout sous la main ! charmante maison dans un village très calme et sympa. les habitants sont très accueillants et chaleureux. les environs impressionnants, vivifiants et odorants ( eucalyptus et pins sont au rendez-vous ainsi que la menthe sauvage) pour les balades un éventail de choix suivant les goûts des uns et des autres les propriétaires sont très gentils et mettent à la disposition des documentations pour les visites et disponibles si nécessaire. douche extérieure très utile en cas de grosse chaleur comme c'était le cas cet été. que dire de plus? des défauts? aucun un séjour de 3 semaines avec aucun problème donc réservez cette location sans aucun priori. Petite maison où l'on a tout sous la main.

Pas de grand luxe, mais très confortable pour passer des vacances. On voit que la maison est souvent occupée par les propriétaires, elle est très propre, on y trouve tout ce qu'il faut et tout est bien rangé. Seul petit souci, les chiens qui aboient souvent la nuit. Et aussi l'accès à Tola, ne pas écouter le GPS "TOM TOM". Demandez au propriétaire un plan d'accès ! 🤔 Nous sommes très satisfaits.

Bien situé et très très bien équipé mais problème de chiens.

La maison est parfaite en ce qui concerne l'intérieur et l'extérieur. Elle est spacieuse, très lumineuse, parfaitement équipée, avec une belle terrasse et un joli jardin, un abri avec BBQ et évier, qui permettent de choisir où se détendre en fonction de la température. De plus, on peut profiter d'un beau point de vue. Malheureusement, on est confrontés trop souvent aux aboiements des chiens du village ( et ils sont nombreux), de jour comme de nuit, sans aucune réaction de leurs propriétaires. Sur 20 nuits, 12 ont été interrompues, dont 5 en particulier, entre 2 et 5 heures du matin, de 30 à 40 minutes. C'est fort regrettable, dans un endroit aussi calme de devoir supporter ces nuisances, qui dégradent considérablement l'attrait de ce gîte, et les efforts déployés par les propriétaires.
