A VERY charming place to stay. We loved the pool!!Just be aware, that it is a bit far if your expectation is just to "pop" into Fortuna for meals, shopping, etc- unless you don't mind driving a lot. The owner was very nice.

This house is amazing and the property is absolutely beautiful! Our family had a wonderful stay! There is so much space and the kitchen was big with 2 refrigerators. I saw toucans while doing the dishes! We enjoyed the pool every day we were there. It's well maintained and very relaxing. Any questions we had were responded to quickly and the host was wonderful. We feel very lucky to have found this lovely home.

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. Where do I start, the listing description is far from accurate, grounds keepers living on site with a dog who kept coming into the house. The dog bit my kid, open electrical in the showers, cockroaches in the bathrooms are a few of the issues that come to mind first! Oh and you might as well be sleeping on the floor with how hard the beds. Do yourself a favor and don't stay.

Amazing home suitable for two families with lots of bed selection. Bathrooms & home was very clean. Upon arrival it felt like a five star hotel, beautifully picked flowers placed in the living room. Property management there anytime you needed anything. The pool was amazing with lots of space for a large party. Property manager came with fresh bananas and offered us coconuts. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a jungle oasis. Lots of animals from Tucan’s to Macaws to lizards and frogs, all on the property, no need to pay extra for tours. we enjoyed a night walk and saw a giant toad to glass toads and basilisk lizards. Highly recommend this oasis home.

The house was fabulous! It had everything we needed in the kitchen to make our meals. Lots of space for the 4 adults and 4 teens. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and very clean. The upper veranda was a blessing since it was drizzling most of our stay. Saw beautiful birds and heard Howler monkeys. The pool was immaculate and unique.Wagner was very responsive to all our questions before arriving and when checking out. Olivier, the on-site keeper was a sweetheart. He showed us around the house and grounds and ensured we understood the use of the gate lock. All with a gracious demeanour - working with my rudimentary understanding of Spanish. Absolutely would stay again!
