Areca Lodge Hotel Stay

So relaxing and friendly staff, nothing was too much bother for them. Stayed here over 20 years ago and would still highly recommend. In a location where, shopping or beach is easily accessed.

Different blocks, we were originally in one of the old blocks where rooms had not been renovated and the pool area not very nice, also a long walk from reception, the view from the balcony was overlooking a dirty unused terrace, we asked for another room which was eventually given to us, from then on we enjoyed our holiday, very clean modern room, great breakfast, check in staff not overly welcoming but it was busy

Great location

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and love the location but I have always stayed in the refurbished side this time we were put in the old side which needs a refurbishment but that would not stop me rebooking as I love the pool and location . I suffer with very bad arthritis and find the bath difficult to get in and out of they could maybe do with a few rooms with showers and some hand rails in the shallow part of the pool
