The villa was fabulous! It was like living in a fairy tale for two weeks. The host was super helpful and responsive and gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants and much more. We loved the location with so many lovely day trips less than an hour a way. The woods allowed for beautiful walks. The pool was already closed for the winter but it looks fab. We will be back!

We had a lovely time at the villa. The view of the lake, especially at sunset was beautiful. The remote location, although just a few miles from town, lends to a peaceful and serene, even cozy atmosphere. The house is gorgeous, many nooks and crannies to sit and relax. The pool was unfortunately closed before our arrival, but the pool area has plenty of sun and lounge chairs, also with a view of the lake. Passignano Sul Tresimeno was a great place to walk around and we enjoyed sitting by the lake for lunch or an aperol spritz.

The villa was perfect for our family of six adults. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. There are numerous spaces both outside and inside to relax and enjoy quiet time. The lake view is spectacular!Our hostess Barbara was wonderful. She responded immediately to any concerns that we had and checked in with us frequently to assure our needs were met.

Outstanding property and such a helpful host!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful and very comfortable property, that had all of the facilities we needed (and more!) given we were traveling with two small children. The pool was so beautiful it was tempting to just spend the whole week there. The host was so helpful, both before and during our stay, always reachable and provided us with great recommendations of things to do/where to go in the area.

The villa was great! We really enjoyed coming back to the villa after our days of adventuring. So quiet and relaxing. Multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy a glass of wine and unwind. We took opportunity of the pool every day. We also enjoyed the private chef prepared dinner, and had leftover food for the next night. Thanks Barbara for being a wonderful host!

Perfect Villa in Lago Trasimeno

Perfect Villa just as pictures show on listing. Everything was as pictured and the hospitality was wonderful! All the amenities were available and we enjoyed the fruit, wine and dessert on arrival. The grounds were lovely.

Awesome view

House with a lot of character and history. Views of the mountains and lake were very peaceful. Remote location for quiet time. Kitchen was rustic but functional. Fireplace was a nice feature. Access road is scheduled for update.

Incredible hospitality at this amazingly beautiful hillside villa!

Barbara was the best host we’ve ever had through VBRO. The pictures of the accommodations were 100% accurate. Property was gorgeous and immaculately kept. She was in frequent communication and had answers for every question we asked. We will be returning to stay again guaranteed. She was outstanding.

Great Countryside Getaway

We had a wonderful Christmas time in the tranquil Italian Countryside. Coming from the buzzing city, this place was exactly what we were looking for. Calm, cozy and big enough to host the family for a short week away.The house offers enough space for up to 8 adults, which each couple having their own bathroom. Everything is exceptionally clean and the house is WELL equipped for cooking, and surviving in general.The owner keeps you in close coordination over the days to ensure your satisfaction. We were very happy with our stay there and would recommend it 100%.

Mountain Kake View

This property is set a top a mountain with beautiful views. It’s a very old home fully refurbished that offers a glimpse at the past. Barbara is a pleasure to work with and helpful beyond words. I look forward to a future visit during warmer weather to enjoy the beautiful pool and do some hiking.

Great place to stay, but for us, we were out exploring surrounding area most of the day. The villa is up a rough road, so you won’t want to go up/down too much. Pool is not used after summer.

We loved Villa Primaluce! Barbara and Leo were fantastic. It was a perfect place for our 5 adults. The home is amazing. The highlight of our trip. I’m hoping to return.

Great property and host, convenient base for Tuscany/Umbria

Lovely property with ancient stone walls but all modern conveniences. Great outdoor spaces as well and great pool. Beautiful views over Lake Trasimeno. Outstanding communication from Barbara, the host, who also had great suggestions about the region. She arranged two dinners for us at the villa which were excellent. Curated local wine at villa was great, esp the Stucchio. Convenient base to explore many of the small towns of Tuscany and Umbria -we highly recommend Pienza and Gubbio especially, and the castle at Castiglione del Lago is also great (eat at L'Aquario). Highly recommend the propery and the host!

Perfect tranquil villa with great facilities

The property was wonderful with so many eating areas and facilities. Every detail has been thought of. The host, Barbara, was extremely helpful. Make sure you have a high car or SUV as road up is steep and rocky.

Perfect family holiday

We had a fantastic time at Barbara's villa. It's well set up and nice and cool for the July heat (good AC in bedrooms) and fans/sufficient cool walls downstairs. The views were beautiful from the house, we loved having breakfast outside and thoroughly enjoyed our afternoons in the huge pool. The kids loved the table tennis table and trampoline and we all enjoyed a good BBQ. Barbara could not have been more helpful and responsive with our queries. The road up to the house is quite steep and bumpy so be prepared for that but it didn't put us off exploring each day. We'd love to come back some time. Thank you Barbara! each morning and

Beautiful historic home in stunning location

The villa is absolutely beautiful and comfortable with lots of wonderful little touches. Communication with the hosts was very easy and they provided excellent instructions and videos. Setting is stunning. We hope to return again!

Beautiful and Peaceful Countryside

If you’re looking for a quiet and private vacation, this is for you. The views are picturesque and the house is unique and lovely. We enjoyed a family vacation with four adults and two young teens. The little town is quaint and charming with nice restaurants and access to boating on the lake. The house is a bit off the beaten path offering some pros and cons. Once off the main road, it is a bit of a drive up a winding, narrow dirt road but the property is lovely. The host, Barbara, was very communicative and easy to reach. Instructions to the house seem complicated, but they are very specific, which made it easy.

Perfect Villa

Our stay at Villa Prima Luce Trasimeno has been magical. Barbara has been the most attentive host, and she treated us like family. The villa is clean and well stocked. Everything is in working order, the beds & linens are lovely. Follow her directions exactly and you will not get lost when arriving. The grounds, and gardens and view are breath taking. Barbara was so attentive through out or stay. She had fantastic suggestions for restaurants. She helped us arrange for a cooking class one night and for dinner another night. Chef Annalisa and her staff were a highlight for us. The meals were Michelin quality. For the cooking class, Monica came along to translate. We all fell in love! The villa is a perfect location to see the Italian countryside or to visit Florence or Perugia or Cortona for the day. The town nearby, Passignano sul Trasimeno, is quaint and quiet. Simply perfect. Barbara also recommended Osteria del Carro for pizza one evening. It was wonderful!! We also loved sitting around the large fireplace in the evening. Everything you need is there!! We did discover a nearby winery that was the best winery experience we have ever had. Viandante del Cielo. Barbara sends videos as the dates of your stay are approaching. They are a perfect way to become acquainted with the villa and how everything works. They are very informative and worth referring back to as needed.

Amazing

The villa is amazing, the coolest 1000 year old building ever! Barbara the owner is very easy to work with - great communication. Passignano is a lovely little town with biking, restaurants, a little bit of shopping, and the best coffee shop ever (Bar Italia). We stayed in the villa for a month and loved it all
