The apartment was very clean, the bed was comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. It is a 5 story walk up with no elevator but we made out fine. It was an amazing location. Easy to walk to everything.

Great location, easy access to Metro and Big Red Bus office. Fun shopping nearby. Lots of restaurant options. Keep in mind, no elevator. We had no issue but probably not best for those with issues climbing stairs. Comfortable bed. Shower/toilet combo but large enough to not be a problem. Great option!

Flat is very nice and in a perfect location. Serious downside was we had zero WiFi during our 4 day stay. Had to go to cafes just to conduct business. Ate out each night just so we could use our phones/computer. Note also that this is on the 4th floor (76 steps up) so not ok for those with mobility issues.

The best part of this apartment is that it is in a fabulous location! It was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive. If you have mobility issues or lots of luggage, the stairs may be a challenge as it is on the 4th floor. But otherwise it is a great place to stay in Paris!

Air conditioner didn’t work

Very nice room in a great location. We did not expect to have to service the air conditioner though, and we were left no written instructions on how to service it. The air conditioner was not working and we tried to contact the lady who let us in the building, but she did not answer, so we contacted Diane through VRBO and she gave us some instructions, but she never offered to come and fix it herself. We told her the bottom compartment was stuck open , and all she suggested was that we close it. It wouldn’t close so we gave up and suffered through the heat. She also suggested we open the windows, which we did, but the street is incredibly noisy at night, so that was not feasible for long. It should be noted that the landing right outside the door is literally inches from the stairs going down, and it is at a dangerous slope toward the stairs, so anyone with balance issues has to be very careful entering and exiting this suite. I would also like to suggest to the owner that it would be very helpful to have a squeegee in the toilet/ shower area so that after a shower, a person could squeegee the water toward the drain. It’s not great for anyone having to use the toilet after someone has showered and the floor is totally wet. The bed was comfortable,but it only had a quilt, with no top sheet, so if the quilt was too hot, we had no covering at all, other than towels etc.

Relaxing Vibe

We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable at this apartment. One thing to know is that the toilet and shower are located at the front of the unit away from the bedroom. There is no enclosure around the shower so be prepared for everything to get wet when using the shower. Layouts in old buildings are always a little tricky in Europe.

Great location — close to so much!

The apartment is nicely appointed, bed is comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. We were able to walk to most of our planned excursions — so many cafes and restaurants! Lots of shopping close by…Metro close and HOHO bus also easy to use! The Louvre is around the corner!The only difficulty we had was with the lack of an elevator, on the 4th floor — 76 steps up and down — would not be an appropriate place to stay for anyone who has any walking/mobility or fitness/cardiac issues — we planned our time out so we could minimize the need to go up the steps.

Fantastic place

We loved our stay here over Christmas. The location can’t be beat. We were close to everything we wanted to visit and there’s a metro station across the street. Just as a heads up, the person checking us in did not live there but ten minutes away, which I didn’t know, so the precision of the check in time mattered. Our flight was delayed, and I didn’t have a way to communicate in the air or right when we landed, so I think there was some frustration that they had to wait on us for about an hour. Otherwise, the place was clean and the full kitchen was great for keeping food since a lot of things were closed on Christmas Day. This is a really amazing flat!!!

Well Worth the Climb!

The property was just as described. It was very clean, contemporary and attractive, had wonderful light in both living room and bedroom, had all the features necessary to live, cook, bathe, store clothes and belongings and relax comfortably in its spacious rooms. Location was excellent only a few minutes to Tuileries, the Louvre, shopping on Rue Rivoli and St. Honore and just short walks to several metro stations that covered the entire metropolitan area. The apartment, as advertised, was on the fourth floor accessed via a spiral staircase, seventy-six steps from street level, a bit daunting after walking miles daily and transporting groceries including water upstairs but even at 68 and 71 years of age respectively, my wife and I managed just fine regardless. The toilet shares space with a full shower and small sink, odd for Americans perhaps but given that there is a full main bath with tub additionally, quite navigable. We cooked and washed clothes with no difficulty and the appliances, full compliment of cookware, dishware and flatware made for easy and comfortable living. For anyone looking to have an experience of living in a neighborhood like a local instead of residing in a hotel room, this space offered a delightful setting to do so. We both would recommend this apartment without reservation.

Great flat in the heart of the Louvre district

We really enjoyed our stay in this apt. The location could not have been better, and it was very comfortable / clean. Even though it was starting to be fall weather, it was warm, the supplied fans and cooler really helped. Our hosts met us, just to give a quick orientation and then let us do what we were there to do, romp around Paris. Be aware there are a few flights of stairs to climb, but we were already getting 14K+ steps just around the city, so a few more vertical ones before could plop down and relax was no big deal. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to others. Thank You!

cute apartment in the heart of Paris

Everything was fine with the apartment - I knew it was on the 4th floor and no elevator as well as the toilet is in the shower area. My only complaint is that the air conditioner unit was useless, it didn't work well at all and it was very hot out so we just had to leave the windows open - but they meet us promptly upon arrival and were very nice. Veronica responded quickly to my texts and was helpful.

Great location one block from the Tuilleries Garden off the Rue de Rivoli in the middle of high end shops eateries .The Flat is on the 4th floor with no lift so there is a lot of exercise involved. It's nice and bright and roomy for 2-3 people. However, we did'nt get much of a welcome from the person who met us (for the owner) and left right away without much info (ie how to work the washer, TV etc). We found that there wasn't any trash bin in the bathroom nor was there any bathing soap , hand towels or extra bath towels. Since we were staying for 7 days it would have been nice to have more than one towel each. Most of the dinnerware was high on the shelves and yet no step stool to get at them. Because the shower was also in the toilet (Yes ! I know) there wasn't any extra bath mats except one that was of dubious cleanliness . There was a washer but no dryer which was OK but the rack was a cheap one that would not stay up. We did call the owner about having some towels dropped off but she said "It would be too much trouble for her to do so.....HMMM). It was a nice property and we enjoyed our stay inspire of the shortcomings . But I would not stay here again nor suggest my friends this property unless there was an improvement in the guest comforts.

Location, location, location!

This flat is in a great location - close to the Louvre, Tuileries, many wonderful restaurants and metro stops close by. Since it is in historic Paris, the flat has some quirks such as the toilet being in the shower (small small room on the opposite side of the flat as the bedroom) and the flush for the toilet sticks often, etc.). In addition - be sure to bring with you any amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, kleenex, etc. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided for three of us for 4 days / nights. The host was very responsive when we reached out regarding how to utilize the heat and a request for more pillowcases. We loved the location and beds were comfortable!

Perfect location central to museums

The apartment is clean and up to date. Full kitchen, including a full size refrigerator, the bathroom (toilet/shower/sink) in one room is separate from a second sink tub located in the bedroom was very convenient for two women getting ready at the same time. Living area spacious and bright. 4 large operating windows lets in lots of fresh air. Shared common areas and stairs not as clean as the apartment. Forth floor walk up with spiral staircase is very pretty but a commitment for a quick run back to the apartment to drop something off or pick it up. Although it does keep the calories from adding up from the great restaurants in the area. Veronica's son and his friend met us at check-in and even carried our suitcases up the stairs on arrival which was very nice. Neighborhood felt very safe at all times of day and night. Highly recommend the apartment and the host. Perfect in every way to anyone that can manage the stairs. Thank you Veronica!

Modern Parisian Charm

Our host and her housekeeper were welcoming and responsive when we arrived and had subsequent questions. The apartment is beautifully decorated and quite comfortable. There are 72 stairs to get to the apartment but we knew this from the listing. Everything was really lovely. The apartment does have a portable air conditioner but it wasn’t working. Fortunately the weather had cooled by the time we arrived or it would’ve been quite uncomfortable with afternoon sun beaming into the apartment. The Stairwell is in need of a refresh but once inside the apartment, it didn’t matter. The location was amazing, just blocks from the Louvre and the Tuileries. Very walkable. I would rent this apartment again!
