The hotel itself is good with a comfortable room, good tea/coffee area and breakfast, and most of the front office staff were excellent. However, slow handling of major issues and slow measures to redress (refund due 24 hours ago and still not processed) means I wouldn't stay here again.

A small compact hotel with a small reception area.Very clean & well maintained in communal areas.My room was also very clean & tidy.Buffet breakfast was good quality.A good location but not really in Montparnasse.

Extremely small rooms! The photos do not capture how small these rooms are! There is literally no space to open a suitcase, and no closet space, definitely not suitable for two persons. I was traveling with my elderly mother, and she could not walk to the bathroom without tripping over. We really could not stay at this hotel and had to check out early. The staff was quite friendly but gave us false hope that the hotel management would refund our money for the unused portion of our stay. After months of emails and repeatedly calling Expedia, they refused the refund after 3 months. They should clearly highlight the size of this room and not expect the user to read all the review comments.

Six Nations weekend

Stayed weekend 9th of March for the 6 nations game . I have been a few time before & my requirement was to be near the SNCF station Denfort Rochereau as it has great service to the stadium & we also like the general area. Found a bargain in the IBIS Alesia for 2 nights with breakfast. Rooms small as most hotels in Paris are, but it was very clean & comfortable for our needs. Breakfast was perfect & excellent coffee( not sure why coffee always tastes better in Paris !) Overall a great stay its not a Marriott but a great budget hotel which ticked all the boxes for our rugby trip. PS Get rid of the pictures with animal dressed up as humans !

Nice hotel near to the buses and Metro and Tram

Staffs are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is the same every day, I recommend to drink the fresh orange jus every morning.

Went to Paris for a few days, only went to hotel to sleep, was very comfortable bed and very nice breakfast, which been served every morning 6 to 10 am , enjoyed my stay would stay down there again !!!

Hotel comfort

The hotel air conditioning was broken. My entire 4 night stay was horrible and hotel management seems not caring to make it a priority to get it fixed. I checked on SAT, learnt that in few hrs and asked how soon the AC gets fixed. I was told Monday but learnt that it was not even fixed till the day we left.
