It was hot in our room, and it was difficult to adjust the temp setting. We ended up leaving our window open at night to feel cooler. Downside was the noise outside. The hotel is right next to a movie theatre and a busy street so expect a lot of activity. Room size is typical of Paris - small but functional. Picked this hotel because of its proximity to Gare de Lyon where we needed to take an early train ride to Switzerland. It was a good 5-10 min walk. Also close to a number of restaurants (recommending Quai 33), pharmacy and grocery store.

Breakfast is the same and cold even the scrambled eggs. House keeping didn’t refilled the coffe/tea and didn’t change towels the 2nd day and cleaned our room when we didn’t ask for housekeeping. Some one knocked out door many times one night and trying to open it, but answer nothing when asked who’s out there. It was about 7:40-50 pm, the staff couldn’t find anything which was strange. Location is good, but will not recommend.

The room was clean and the location is great—only a short walk from Gare de Lyon. That said, the service was average and reception often had long waits, suggesting understaffing. The furniture is dated, the bed throw had visible stains, and only one room key was provided. I chose not to have breakfast as the selection seemed very limited and opted to eat in the city instead. Additionally, the toilet and the hand-washing sink were in separate rooms, which wasn’t very convenient. Overall, an average experience.

Very nice, clean and friendly hotel. The room had everything I needed but was very, very small. ( Not unlike many hotels in Paris ). If you are traveling by train, as I was, the gare de Lyon Station is only a block away.
