Disappointing

While the apartment had some nice features, overall I was disappointed. On the plus side, the bathroom was newly remodeled, the kitchen was functional, and the living room sofa was comfortable enough. However, the floors were quite creaky, some of the furnishings were tired and stained, and there was not enough lighting in the living room or bedroom. Unfortunately in this building one can hear everything. On my first night, there was a party upstairs until 4:30 in the morning, and I barely slept at all. I don’t know about the other nights, because I took a room at a hotel down the street just for sleeping and only used the apartment during the day.

Easy location, no bed bugs

Check in was a little cumbersome, because we had to keep communicating when we would be there since they have someone meet you. With the chaos of trains/stations, I wasn't always able to text right away. Also, made us feel a bit rushed to get there at the time they expected. I personally like just getting a code or lockbox to get in. We were also disappointed because we were a party of 5, and the posting originally had a bedroom and then an additional twin over full bunk bed- which would have been perfect for us. We walked in- the bunk was gone and replaced with a stained couch my son had to sleep on. Then we also had to use the pull out couch, which made the living room unusable for anyone else. The location was nice, metro, restaurants, some shops and grocery not too far. It is on the 4th floor with a small elevator. The kitchen is small, but nice. dishwasher, good size refrigerator and freezer. Dining area is nice. We visited in early November, the radiators did a good job at keeping us comfortable.

Wonderful Apartment in Paris

We stayed a week at this lovely apartment in Paris! We were greeted upon arrival & given the key and a tour of the apartment. It was a smooth and easy check-in. Before our trip and during, we had great communication with the booking agent. The apartment was clean and decorated really nicely. Plenty of room for our family of 5. We used the washing machine several times and it was so nice having a kitchen with a refrigerator. The people we met in the apartment building were so kind and it felt very safe. We walked each morning to the Metro which was about a 5 minute walk. There are several grocery stores, a nice cafe, bakery, etc. - all within a 5 mile walk. We felt like true Parisians on our stay at this lovely apartment!

Great for a family!

I was happy to find an apartment with enough beds for four people. It's a one bedroom, but the large bunk beds in the living room worked out well. Nice bathroom! Near the Eiffel Tower; we walked there one evening. Close to the Volontaire metro stop. A market a few doors down. Laundry/washer dryer could use some instructions. And, I enjoyed the bottle of wine provided by the host. Plenty of towels and extra bedding. Apartment was quiet. Beds comfortable. No complaints. Enjoyed our stay!

Great Stay!

We enjoyed this property for our family. The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. It was located is a wonderful little neighborhood. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the mornings to grab coffee and pastries. It was close to the metro and Eiffel Tower. We walked to the Eiffel Tower a few times. The home was clean and cozy! Would stay again. Highly recommended!
