It’s giving institutional vibes. White walls, no decor, just a white box. The building is dark and the walls are paper thin. Air conditioning barely worked during the hottest week of the year. Automatically cutting off and having to be manually reset every hour or so. One morning of our stay, before 9am, there is literal banging on our door. A man claiming to be the unit owner says they need to change the air filters in our units because “this was the only time it could happen, once a year, has to happen now.” If true, this should have been disclosed before confirming a booking. At minimum a heads up via email 24 hours in advance would have been appropriate. But nothing. Barely awake, holding my toddler, in our pajamas while strange men stomp around with a shop vac changing air filters at 8am. Our circumstances changed about 2.5 weeks after we booked. Policy is no modification or cancellation within a MONTH of the reservation. So, we left as needed but were forced to pay for days we didn’t use the rental. Fine, it’s policy but it’s not good customer service and shame on me for assuming positive intent with a business. AVOID THIS RENTAL AT ALL COSTS. If you can afford something else, choose it over this. Oh, and I almost forgot - after booking and before they would release info to check in, they charged 600 additional in “city taxes”. Just an absolute rip off. You don’t actually save compared to a nice hotel. Do not rent. Love yourself more.
