Important to note that the staircase is spiral with uneven stairs. Great location!No generous supply of towels or toilet paper. The pillows on the bed were not great. No extra blankets or pillows. No privacy whileUsing bathroom as there is a giant window in bathroom door. The place should be listed as a bachelor apartment.

Great Experience All Around

Everything was exactly what we expected — the check in was easy and fully automated (no direct contact with the host). The apartment is small, one bed, full bath, and small kitchenette (but that’s what we expected and detailed in the listing. The apartment was clean and the neighborhood was perfectly located for us. A couple of things to consider when booking - there is no AC (but we knew that when we booked and there is a large window that opens and ceiling fan); the “host” is managed by a company that primarily uses AI chatbots on their messaging platform (which wasn’t an issue for us) but there is a live human available if the AI couldn’t handle the issue; and the apartment is on the third floor of the building. All in all this was a great little apartment for what we wanted for a few days in Paris.

Deceptive

Great neighborhood with convenient transportation. Not clean. Bathroom toilet is so close to a cold stone wall that our bodies rested against it. Holiday Discovery, the host, was not responsive to canceling within 24 hours. Exposed electric connections in reach of shower.

Excellent little studio in convention location

My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely little studio. The building was very charming, and the apartment has been very thoughtfully updated and apportioned, especially considering its smaller size. The only slight improvement I’d suggest is to provide a curtain of some kind for the bathroom door, as there is a window in the door with direct sight lines between the toilet and the bed, which is a bit awkward for whomever is using the toilet. Other than that, it is a lovely, clean, and well designed place to stay.

Mother Daughter Paris Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely studio. The location was excellent. We were out most of the days but found it very quiet for sleeping which was so welcome as we needed to refresh from all the walking. Close to shops, cafes and the metro, I would definitely recommend this rental. Communication was prompt, suite checkin simple. A+ rating. The only thing is, if you need the pullout “chair” I would confirm with owner, as it wasn’t in the studio for our stay.

The property wasn’t very secure. The the locked door from the street didn’t work…the door to the actual apartment was clearly broken into multiple times as you could see where the locks had been taken away…and that the door had the markings of several attempts of past break ins. The deadbolt lock couldn’t be double locked, it would only allow one turn. The door also had a gap at the top of the door where you could see the light inside. There was a scaffold outside the window. We we’re also interrupted by an architect knocking on the door without giving notice. This was the low point of a 6 week European holiday and I can not recommend VRBO in the future. Also the throw blanket on the bed wasn’t clean. ALSO WE ARE WAITING FOR OUR DEPOSIT!!!!

Everything about the host company Holiday Discovery and this apartment was outstanding. The communication with the host was prompt, clear and professional. The check in was easy and the pictures and description of the apartment were accurate. The apartment is light, efficient, quiet and has everything you need. The location was terrific! I’m already planning my return stay!

The location of the property was great, nice neighbourhood and near to a Metro station and good shopping. The Wifi code provided never worked but they were very responsive in providing an alternative which was a bit long and in the end I never bothered with their Wifi. What I didn’t like related more to the overall cost for the property and after the experience, I will choose a hotel stay going forward as too many add ons (deposit and reservation fee paid to a third party). I think Expedia could do a better job with these types of arrangements. Aside from that it was an ok stay, two flights of stairs to climb so definitely for younger folk.

Charming Apartment

I would definitely recommend this stay! The building is so charming and the apartment has everything you need! The location is perfect — you are across the street from Bon Marche and the Grande Epicerie as well as so many great shops, cafes, and restaurants. Super central and such a great neighborhood to be in. Would highly recommend!!
