Good neighborhood

The building and the apartment are old. The unit is clean, but much of it is run down. The shower is not separate from the rest of the bathroom, so everything gets wet. Quiet, safe neighborhood with grocery store and restaurants nearby. On the edge of Les Batignolles. Close to the bus and near enough to the metro. Cute balcony.

Eric was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Our arrival into Paris was in the morning and he was very accommodating getting us into the apartment early. The apartment was small, but clean and had all we needed to make for an enjoyable stay. It is about 5-10 minute walk to 3 different metro stations as well as tram and RER station, very convenient. There were supplies of water and drinks already in the fridge. Grocery stores and restaurants within minutes of the building. We had to leave very early in the morning and we appreciated his effort to meet us in time for us to get to the airport. All in all, a nice place to stay when in Paris.

Eric is the most amazing host. He was waiting on us at our arrival, showed us the property, gave us the access keys with the best and polite way. Location is really good and quiet. Pictures show exactly what they have. We can cook and drink a good coffee. We really enjoy this time in Paris.

We loved everything about staying at this Vrbo apartment. It is clean, cute studio, with everything that we needed during our 6 day vacation. Eric was very kind and responded quickly to any questions we had. We especially loved being in a real neighborhood. Even when we'd get back later at night, neighborhood restaurants were still open and there are plenty of places to shop for food, etc. There is even a cool bookstore nearby. It's close to several metro stops, so it's very easy to get around Paris from there. Still, it's quiet and safe. We would definitely try to stay there whenever we get back to Paris.

clean place, great location, attentive host

Eric the host is people friendly and makes his guests feel comfortable. The unit is in a great location and only 5 minutes by foot to Montmartre and Sacre Coeur. For the price, it's a terrific choice for anyone visiting Paris for a few days, best for 1 or 2 people, but can accommodate three. Next time we visit Paris we intend to stay with him.

Nice small apartment, good location

This is a small unit located next to plenty of transportation options. The owner was very courteous and patiently waited for us even when our flight was delayed. It was nice to have a small kitchen and washing machine, the small balcony was also a must for us. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, and you can find many restaurants, pharmacies, boulangeries and groceries just a few steps away, which made our life much easier. On the other side, the beds and pillows were not the most comfortable I’ve slept. When showering you might need to use not much water pressure otherwise you’ll wet the entire bathroom. In my opinion, the accommodation works fine for a few days for a couple or small family, but I would recommend some improvements regarding the beds and cleanliness.

A perfect find!

The apartment was very clean and cute and it had everything we needed. The location is not in the heart of the city, but is very close to lots of public transportation, so its very easy to get around. Eric was very helpful and understanding when we had issues with travel and making adjustments and was overall very nice!

Great apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. The apartment is very nice and well maintained. Small kitchen and spotty wifi at times (only one device can be connected at a time). Otherwise wonderful setup - really enjoyed our stay.

Got the job done...but needs upgrades. REEKS of cigarette smoke.

First of all, the phone number provided for the host is incorrect. Dial the country code +33, then the number beginning with 619. On a mobile phone, holding down the 0 will get you the plus sign. The good: Host was pleasant and available even with a language barrier, apartment was clean upon arrival, and the building (and other residents) was pleasant and even included an elevator. It felt safe, was quiet, and was in a cute area with local businesses (go eat at Boulangerie Basso!) and a great grocery store -- GranPrix -- just a few minutes walk away. It was nice to have a small washing machine and a small fridge. The Brochant and Guy Moquet metro stops are both only about an 8 minute walk away. The bad: -If you have sensitivities to cigarette smoke or just want to return home without all of your belongings smelling of cigarette smoke, do not stay here. - If you will need consistent internet access, do not stay here. While the listing does have everything it said it had, the photos make it seem better than it is. Yes, I know Parisians smoke. But this place REEKS despite there being a small balcony on which to smoke. You walk in the door and the smell is oppressive. The few towels that were provided stunk, so we washed them before using them (consider bringing your own towels/washcloths). Every appliance is yellowed from cigarette smoke. The curtains, which are not the same as some of the photos, reek of smoke. The shower (conveniently not pictured...) is difficult to maneuver without wetting the entire bathroom. Tip: do not use the full water pressure or, from experience, water will end up on the ceiling and the toilet and all over the floor. Also, the wifi was spotty at best. When our US circadian rhythms woke us up in the middle of the night, basic surfing was possible...but otherwise was nearly impossible. The router is old and needs to be upgraded, as the security type (WPA) was not compatible with iPhones. This place is fairly comfortable, but needs upgrades and some items replaced, such as curtains, cushions, etc., to take care of the awful smell. With a little work in the bathroom, water going everywhere could be prevented. A new router could work wonders for the connection. Just be aware that the description of this place is a bit of a stretch when booking, but it will certainly get the job done if you are looking for a flat in Paris that is safe and won't break the bank.

Eric, the owner, provided the basics expected in a rental such as this. The shower opened up somewhat into the bathroom area, so other areas often got wet. Furnishings were a bit dated, but added to the charm of the place if you like that. The place smells of previous smokers, since smoking is allowed. The location is great, with easy access to metro and bus and many restaurants and bars. Some sights are within walking distance. For the most part, Eric was quick to respond to questions and with the original rental. However, when hot water went out on Saturday night, it was not fixed until Monday afternoon. That was tough to deal with, since that meant cold showers and no heat, since it's water-based. Fortunately, the outside temperature was not too bad at that time. Eric apologized, but the delay, but that didn't change those rough 42 hours.

Gute Lage & ruhige Nächte

Gefallen hat uns die gute Lage dieser Unterkunft- für uns als Touristen ausreichend. Ruhige Nächte, des Rue des Fleurs fast vor der Tür, gute Anbindung an die Metro und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um die Ecke. Der Küchenbereich ist spartanisch, aber funktionell eingerichtet, ebenso das Bad. Es war alles ordentlich bis auf das Geschirr, welches scheinbar in Eile von vorherigen Besuchenden abgewaschen wurde. Hier lohnt eine generelles Abwaschen allen Geschirrs, damit neue Gäste nicht auf dieses Problem stoßen. Es lagen bei Ankunft nicht ausreichende Handtücher zur Verfügung, aber wir haben noch neue, ungewaschene Handtücher in Schubladen gefunden, die wir in der Waschmaschine, die sich auch in der Wohnung befindet, gewaschen haben. So hat es gepasst. Wäscheständer steht auch auf dem Balkon zur Verfügung. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war gut.

Mi experiencia en el alojamiento de Eric ha sidouy agradable, el alojamiento es sencillo pero tiene todo lo necesario, está limpio y bien ubicado con paradas de metro cercana, además Eric es muy flexible,servicial y atento, tuvimos problemas con el viaje y por motivos personales tuvimos que cambiar llos dias.
