le lieu est paisible, aucun bruit, l'immeuble est calme c'est un gros point positif. Cependant cet appartement "vendu" pour 4 personnes n'est absolument pas conforme à la réalité. Nous avons été très déçu, la 2eme chambre comme indiqué sur l'annonce et en effet un petit espace ou il y a un clique claque et une table servant de table de salle à manger, la table est minuscule et 4 personnes ne peuvent pas déjeuner ensemble. La cuisine!! très très petite, même si elle est équipée, mais aucune nourriture ne peut être préparée dans cet espace. je passe sur la salle de bain, il faut être lilliputien pour faire sa toilette. Enfin bref, nous avions payé et donc nous avons passé 4 nuits...

Short stay in Paris

Needed a cheap place to stay in a good neighborhood. This small apartment is in a good location. The dark colored sheets and towels were disconcerting. We didn't spend much time in the apt., just used it as a place to sleep.

The dorm

The property was as described with the photos as well. Host was easily reached and responded to our request and questions, quickly and efficiently. We chuckled about the smallest of the apartment, not uncommon in Paris for this, but it was a little tight for two average size adult women. In particularly the kitchen, which is closet size, and the bathroom, which is not much bigger. Appliances were good and we used. If you require an elevator, it is extremely narrow. Our suitcases barely fit in and we stacked them on top of each other. Our apartment was only two spiral staircase flights so that was good close to the Eiffel and two are bato bus stop. About a 15 minute walk there’s some nice local pastry shops right in the area and a market very close and useful

Cramped and small, convenient location.

We sent message when we arrived and were met at the door and provided access code and keys. This is an apartment complex so you need a pin to enter foyer and keys to enter building and room. There is a two person elevator (one person with luggage) or just walk up the narrow stairs. As we knew from the posted photos this rental would be small. The bathroom was the smallest I've ever used. The shower was so tight I kept accidentally turning off the water (6 foot/180lbs). There is a cramped kitchenette with sink and microwave. The washer/dryer combo did not properly dry our clothes (it is in French so it could have been user error). We used the drying rack to dry our wet clothes overnight. (There is a local laundromat but it was after hours.) The bedroom was relatively spacious with chairs and dresser. Bed was ok but my girlfriend found it very uncomfortable. The final room combines dining, refrigerator, futon and TV. When futon was opened as a bed, it was cramped to open the refrigerator, but it could be done. We never used the TV. Two fans were provided to help keep cool overnight. For the convenience of being in the city and knowing we'd be out exploring and not in the room, we sacrificed room comfort for location. For us it was the right decision for our short stay. It is a fifteen minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and a two minute walk to a subway station. There is a small shop two doors down for snacks & fruit. Many restaurant options within a five minute walk.
