The hotel has a dull atmosphere with no evening entertainment, which made the stay quite boring. My room was listed as an inland view, but it actually faced the kidsā club. The furniture was old and worn out, with peeling wood on the side tables, and the shower tiles had black mould that came off easily when I scrubbed with my nail ā so it just needed a better clean.
I spoke with the manager, who was understanding but couldnāt move us as the hotel was fully booked. He kindly sent a bottle of bubbles and a fruit platter, which I appreciated.
Staff work hard, but service felt slow and inattentive. Both mornings I had to call a waitress to get coffee at breakfast, and overall I didnāt feel noticed as a guest.
I booked this hotel because itās part of the same group as Anassa, but it doesnāt compare. The hotel is generally clean apart from the bathroom tiles, but the materials and furniture feel cheap, The spa view is beautiful, but the furniture around the cafĆ© looks tired. The beach is difficult to access as you have to climb down a wall, though the pools are very nice.
Overall, itās an average stay ā Iād give it 3 stars.
