The moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and cold drinks. It was a wonderful experience the entire stay. We will definitely be recommending Momo Beach House to friends. We went there to relax and tour the sites that the area had to offer, the friendly staff set up everything for us, it was an amazing time. Will visit again.

Not just close to the beach but step off the path and your on the beach, OK so it's a bit out of the way but that's clear from the description, there is a free shuttle bus to a lively but busy beach about 25 mins away. The staff were really good the food was very good and very reasonably priced too, just a nice relaxing place with beautiful views around the bay

Awesome hotel staff, hotel condition needs work

Staff are awesome all the way to the Security. Access road needs work, signage to get to the hotel needs to be posted. The room needs work but it’s in livable condition. Location is by the beach but lots of sea weeds. Just keep your expectations low and you will have the best time with your stay. Quite and peaceful. Very relaxing ambiance. And again awesome staff with great service oriented approach.

A gem on the other side of the island

This hotel offers a serene place of relaxation. It is away from the crowds of Alona beach. All the staff from the cleaners to the manager were ever smiling and welcoming. We also enjoyed the free breakfast. They have free use of canoe and paddle board and also have free use of snorkeling gear. They even have a spot for snorkeling few feet away from the hotel beach area. The pool was very calming because of the view from where you lounged. Free shuttle runs twice that will take you to Alona beach and back. For a fee which is very reasonable, we arranged to be picked up at Tagbilaran airport and back. Highly recommended for middle aged couple and family.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

My stay in this hotel was amazing! We arrived around 10PM and we were given with a warm welcome. Christine (she’s awesome) made us feel that this hotel will surely be our home for the next 3 days and nights with her greetings “Welcome home po sir.” This hotel is located in a quiet area, which I appreciate and love. It is 30mins trike ride to Alona Beach. Hotel can arrange a trike service upon your request. Though hotel provides free shuttle drop off and pick up, but on certain time schedule. I think 11AM and 5:30PM. After a long day of countryside tour and island hopping activities, there’s no better way to end the day than by swimming in their pool or get into their swings and relax by the beach and watch the sunset. This hotel also provides free kayak and snorkeling gear, even though we didn’t get to use it. Our hotel room was clean and smells good all the time. The water temperature (hot) was perfect. WiFi connection was OK. TV was ok. A/C was working fine. Nothing to complain about our room. I love the treats/delicacies (taste of Bohol) that they leave in our room every day. Lobby/Dining area. The ambiance was perfect. The kitchen/dining staff were very polite and you will feel their sincere Filipino hospitality. The security guards were helpful as well. CONS: - There’s not much sign on the streets that will lead you to this hotel. It was hard to find at night time. - Too many stray dogs, though they seem harmless.

Fantastically nice staff and service. Very good location that is close to a quiet and clear water beach. Free kayak is provided. Very joyful to swim and kayak, and we extended our stay at this hotel.

Hotel staff are fantastic here and will go above and beyond to help you. Very quiet and secluded location. Food and drink here are very reasonably priced. I would stay here again if I was going back to the area. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Cliche but it really is your home away from home

We had a comfortable stay and it felt so casual, relaxed and and good vibes overall. The staff are all friendly and accommodating adding some personal touch that makes you feel at home.

Quite relaxing

This is on the quite side of the island and isolated. If you want to spend the day relaxing or return from tours to quite this the perfect place. They have a two for one happy hour, made a great margarita. All food from the kitchen was very good. Staff was more than helpful. Even got up at 4 am to make us our free daily breakfast for our early departure. The coffe was the best I've had in the phils, I like mine black so good coffe is s treat here. They had kayaks, badminton, volleyball, snorkeling gear, games, fuzz ball, played any music we wanted and a lively dance floor.

Good accomodation

It was a pleasant stay, the place is really quiet and secluded, except for the road going there is very dark and looks like it still being developed. I hoped they clean the washed out seaweeds from the shore. Other than that food, staff and area is really good to have a relaxing weekend.

Far away from the happening beaches in Panglao. We have to depend on shuttles to get to the other beaches. Food was great. Service was exceptional! Con: wi fi only in the hotel lobby.

Chilled out hideaway

Perfect location for those who want to base themselves a little bit away from the hustle of Alona Beach. The tricycle ride to the actual hotel makes use of some off-road paths, but don't be concerned about your safety. We found every tricycle driver trustworthy, and the Philippines (outside of Manila anyway) very safe. This hotel only has wifi in their lobby (which is open air), and the internet service is pretty patchy/slow. Rooms were great, with the a/c very effective. I usually attract mosquitoes, but none entered our room at Momo Beach House. Service was excellent, the hotel staff will help you with booking a scooter if you would like one, and there is a free shuttle to their sister hotel in Alona Beach.

Nice experience in MoMo

The staffs were very friendly, they smiled to you all the time which makes you feel like home. The breakfast was good, and can be served on the beachside which is a bonus. The room is very clean with strong AC and stable hot water. The hotel provides free kayak and standing paddle. We didn't swim in the MoMo beach beacuse there are quite a lot of sea weeds, but the hotel pool is a good option. There are no restaurants nearby except eating in the hotel. We eat in Alona every night as you can find everything there (restaurants, bars, tours ..) it only takes 15 mins to Alona by car. We have no difficulty finding tuktuk when we end up late in Alona back to the hotel (around 150-200 php) There are two free shuttle services to their sister resort (Amorita) locating in Alona Beach at 11am / 5pm. We can enjoy the private pool in Amoirta as they belong to the same company. Amazing view at pool & great food.
