Finally, after a week of trying to talk with the property manager, I received a small refund.
Upon check in, we noticed immediately that the pool was extremely green. The backyard had massive weed and brush overgrowth. We contacted paradise immediately. They did send someone out the next morning to work on the pool. We were told it would be 1-2 days before it would be usable. When that wasn't the case, we contacted them again. Every time they sent someone out and told us it would be another 24 hours. The pool did start to look better (less green), but was never usable for our entire stay. Each time they made note of the situation and agreed that something was wrong. They also told us that someone was supposed to be maintaining the lawncare, but that never happened. I wish I could submit the photos that I took of the pool and the area around it. I will credit them for trying to fix the pool at least. However, the reason we chose this property was because of the pool. We love to relax outdoors and enjoy a pool after a long day at the beach. We were never able to do that. I do not feel that the tiny 10% refund we were given was sufficient for the price we paid for this property. I never asked for a full refund but at least double that would have been better. I also don't appreciate that it took a week before receiving that. The maintenance staff was very kind and apologetic but phone staff tried to tell me they left a message and text me when they definitely did not.
