The Wharf property 113:
Information. The Wharf resembles a smaller Vegas hotel with its size. I've stayed at places such as The Linq which reminded me of The Wharf with its overall property size. Thus, it is bigger than your average beach hotel/condo. The room was the 1st floor (2nd floor counting the "Ground").
Pros:
The property is as advertised. It has a little bit of wear to it, but it was very clean. If it had newer appliances and carpet, I would have expected to pay significantly more. It's 1st floor location allowed me and my family to bypass the elevator while the property featured several restaurants from seafood, to BBQ, Artisan Burgers, and ice cream shop. Also, the gaming area, pool selections, and workout areas were on par of a Vegas hotel (aside from the wear). So, the overall bang for buck regarding condo size, beach location, floor, and cost was almost unbeatable.
The staff and security Manager (was in the office handling customer issues every time - Thank you!) were terrific.
Cons:
We have a disabled child and the elevators were horrendous. I don't blame the condo owner for this, but fundamental design of the Wharf (small Vegas hotel without the number of elevators needed). Fortunately, we were on the first floor. If you're up high, you can't take the stairs. I did notice many other vacationers kept having bracelet issues which caused them to get locked on the beach (need to badge in to get through the beach exit gate). A rough customer experience.
