Beautiful beachfront home in an excellent location — being so close to the beach, shops, and restaurants was definitely the highlight of our stay. The house itself is spacious, beautifully decorated, and the balcony view was amazing. We also really enjoyed having the bikes available and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably.That said, the stay was frustrating because there were several maintenance and detail issues that took away from the experience. The air conditioning went out twice during our stay. To their credit, they sent a technician out immediately the first time, but he mentioned it was a recurring issue and showed us how to fix it ourselves “when, not if” it happened again, which suggests it’s an ongoing problem that hasn’t been properly resolved.We also dealt with a leak under the sink on the last day, found both dead and live cockroaches when we arrived, had missing/non-working TV remotes, loose shower handles, moldy shower curtains, wobbly cabinets, and drawers that wouldn’t close properly. There also wasn’t enough hot water for two people to shower at once. The kitchen was missing very basic essentials like salt, pepper, and cooking oil.Overall, this is a property with a lot of potential because the location and overall aesthetic are fantastic, but the lack of upkeep and attention to detail kept it from feeling like a truly great stay.
