It's located right in the center of downtown Palm Springs so we walked everywhere. The architecture was interesting and the interior was well decorated. The room was split into separate living and sleeping areas. The living area was bright and cheery and the sleeping area was dark and quiet. The bathroom was large and sparkling clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We spent a lot of time relaxing at the amazing swimming pool. We had a great stay at the Hyatt and would recommend it to everyone.

As most other people reviewed, this is an old property that does not meet Hyatt standards. Building need lots of improvements. If it were a lower grade hotel chain I would have given it a better review. If you are expecting Hyatt quality, you will be disappointed. The hotel is right downtown with lots of good restaurants and shops. It's worth staying there because of the nice area. Just don't expect much from the hotel quality.

Was told there was no airport shuttle but saw one outside of hotel after arriving. Staff is very friendly and prompt to contact you or say hello. Rooms are dated and a bit dark, but clean and functional. Bed is very comfortable. Pool is also dated, but clean and towels were always available.
