As most other people reviewed, this is an old property that does not meet Hyatt standards. Building need lots of improvements. If it were a lower grade hotel chain I would have given it a better review. If you are expecting Hyatt quality, you will be disappointed. The hotel is right downtown with lots of good restaurants and shops. It's worth staying there because of the nice area. Just don't expect much from the hotel quality.

The room was just okay and honestly a little over priced. The toilet was the slowest flushing ever, shower would t get very hot water. The AC was not keeping up and had to sleep with the door open. The light switches wouldn't work. Staff was friendly though.

This property is unkept and understaffed. Our room was filthy. I went to the front desk to ask for a room change and showed them photos. The front desk agent was rude and unapologetic. The second room was just as dirty. The room was missing bedding, I requested it be brought to the room. 5 hours later we still had not received the bedding. I had to go down to the front desk and request it again, at 9:30pm. The agent said it would be brought up “in like 10 minutes”. 30 minutes later it still had not arrived, at which time I went to the front desk for the 3rd time and asked for the bedding to be handed to me. The elevator was broken and half of the rooms are located outside like a motel. This is not your typical Hyatt.

The staff was excellent. The hotel room was not up to par with other hyatts I’ve been to. The plumbing was bad and the sink and shower was leaking. They were doing some kind of repair work very early in the morning as well. Also the couch bed mattress was horrible, I know they usually aren’t the best but this thing seemed 80 years old so I ordered a roll away bed and you could feel every spring in that one as well. The location is great but they need to upgrade the beds for sure!

The room was terrible. There were old sheets on the pullout couch. It smell like someone recently used the bathroom. I seen the maintenance guy come out of that riim before it was assigned to my family and I. The carpets were dirty, the couch smelled awful, and the room overall was not like what was advertised online. The Hyatt is usually a prestige stay especially since the cost was over $500 for one night in place like Palm Springs. Completely sad. I want a full refund immediately hotel, incidentals, and hotel parking. Also the hotel parking garage is falling apart very unsafe down there.

Not up to Hyatt standards. I felt we was in a Howard Johnson's. Bathroom fixtures were rusty, no magnifying mirror, cheap toiletries, sagging mattress but giving it 3 stars for their prime location.

The hotel is very outdated and in desperate need of updating. Furniture, flooring to include tile and carpet in our room, very shabby. The round dining table is very unstable and seemed unsafe. The couch cushions completely deflated into the couch. This hotel does definitely not reflect the usual caliber of a Hyatt. The location is ideal and very centrally located but until it is refreshed and updated we would not stay there again.

The room had a few issues like the shower/tub combo not draining normally and the toilet making a weird noise every time you flush. However, Lesly at the front desk was super sweet and helpful checking us in. We had a late flight into PSP but she made sure we got settled and helped us find the hotel parking. If it hadn't been for her the rating would have been lower than 4 stars.

Let’s be real – people choose this property for the location. It couldn’t be better than the middle of downtown Palm Springs, and that was a real boon for our family, traveling with smaller children. The condition of the property itself was pretty disappointing. In my brother‘s room, the showerhead and faucet were inexplicably wrapped in plastic and taped, with a good quarter inch of dust caked on underneath. It hadn’t been touched in months, and we still don’t understand why. In our room, flipping the mattress on the pullout bed made us wretch. Basic amenities, including phones, safes, and bottles of water were either unavailable or had to be requested specifically. The whole place is just dirty and run into the ground, and it would be fine if we were paying a standard amount for a hotel. But with taxes and fees, it came to $500 a night. For that much money, they can afford to hire a couple of additional housekeepers and handymen.

There was plastic wrap on the showerhead and faucet, and a fine layer of dust on some of the shelves. The water didn’t get nor stay hot consistently. Service people were friendly and helpflu though.
