The house was located in a very quiet neighborhood. There is a gate at the entrance to the neighborhood, and one to the house. The property is very private. The house had all the amenities needed for an 8 day and longer stay. The pool was great, and the monkeys passed by on occasion, but had no interest in us. The power went out at one point, and the whole house generator was up and running in seconds, and ran for some time. We were very appreciative for that. There were new beach chairs available and tons of beach towels. The view from the master bedroom was incredible. St. Barts to the south, Anguilla to the north. We stopped in at Happy Bay a couple days, and that was well worth the trip. The house is just south of Orient Beach, and there are a lot of great places to eat on that side of the island. Oasis is about 5 minutes from the house, along with the small, but complete market across the street, and even a small gas station. Oasis was an absolute highlight of the trip. Essentially a French restaurant, but had a burger to die for. Driving is exciting there, especially when the cruise ships show up. Everyone, the owners and management were all very helpful. We would highly recommend this house.
